It’s a little slow but because they’re new so it’s understandable! The waiter was very attentive and patient. I’d come here again!

At first I never knew this was a restaurant, it's really a lil hole in the wall. I went for the first time A few on the back and let me tell you it's amazing ! The food is cooked fresh and it's great portions.

When people think Mexican restaurant, they usually think of chips and salsa, burritos and pretty much the same menu anywhere. La Cocina is completely different. The menu, we only saw the lunch one, was very simple but had a good variety of items. My husband had the Torta and I had the Quesadilla. My husband loved his torta and devoured the whole thing. My quesadilla came with rice and beans, and appears to have been fried, which I've never seen before. The crispness of the tortilla and the meltyness of the cheese worked so well together I feel like I've been doing it wrong my whole life. The portion was so big I ended up taking half home. All in all, La Cocina was a great find and we are excited to come back for dinner.

I wanted to love this place because of the hype on Facebook but left feeling underwhelmed. We ordered the tacos with consome ( some sort of soup) and then a quesadilla plate with rice and beans and for drinks we got a piña, horchata and jamaica. The good- service was friendly and our server checked on us often, also the rice and beans were amazing. However- both the horchata and piña were so bland to were they had little to no flavor and just tasted extremely watered down. Then for the food I was disappointed they didn't have different options for beef, just shredded beef which definetly lacked flavor and then the tacos, quesadilla as well as the consome were just extremely oily- to the point where when I got home I even had to throw up and that never happens. We even took our friends advise who suggested this place and made sure to add onions and cilantro but unfortunately nothing was able to help here. Would I come back- no.

This is some good birria and menudo also my son loves the torta and consume . The only thing is that their horchata was a little to thick

I was a bit disappointed. First, there was the issue of actually finding the restaurant as google didn't have the address. Then the menu is limited. Each item ordered was overfilled with the same meat that wasn't that great. I didn't see another meat option. I wonder if I just needed to say a different meat....but the menu wasn't clear nor was the employee who took our order (although she was very sweet). Saving grace was tossing the marinated veggies on my tacos (located on the side as a small salsa station). We tried the Torta, Mulita, Quesadilla and Tacos. I don't recommend the Mulita. The Torta was the best out of the items. Cheese saved the Quesadilla. And the marinated veggies saved the Tacos.
