We had a party of 5 adults and 2 children on a Saturday night, we stopped at a different Mexican restaurant in Lakewood on South Tacoma Way. They were not able to accommodate us. We called ahead to La Palma, just to make sure. La Palma graciously greeted us, immediately seated us and very kindly treated us like we were the only diners there (we weren't). We were served delicious food very quickly at a very reasonable price. I couldn't have asked for a better experience...
Salsa and chips are pretty good and beans are delightful!There is lots of types of seating and the waiters are all excellent! (We love Fernando!)They do large parties really good- I highly reccomend this cute Mexican restaurant!
This place was absolutely wonderful. First of all my husband ordered the fajitas meal and they accidentally made the meal as a double meal because on their menu they have a fajitas for two meal that cost $40. They told us keep the extra fajita meal on them cuz they made it by mistake. They were so nice to my son who is 4 and very ambitious and talkative LOL. The waitress even gave him a dollar to put in the toy machine to get something when he was done eating. And then stop this...
