Black Bear Diner Lakewood

I recently dined at Black Bear Finer, and I must say, it was an excellent experience! The food was fantastic, each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, showcasing a great variety of options that cater to different tastes. The service was equally impressive; the staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. I left feeling satisfied and happy, and I would definitely recommend Black Bear Finer to anyone looking for a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to return!

Great Server, But the Rest Was Disappointing

I was really disappointed with my visit. The restaurant allowed puppies in the dining area that weren’t service animals. My niece is allergic to animals, and it almost made us leave. The manager was even holding and petting a puppy, then went right back to serving and cleaning tables without washing their hands.

The food was mediocre — the pancakes were dense and tasted more like biscuits than sweet cream pancakes. The only positive was our server, who was phenomenal: friendly, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, between the hygiene concerns and lackluster food, I won’t be returning.

Black hair left in our food ugh disgustingly gross!!! Pies were 16.00 for small pie bought a peach pie which was terrible and a lemon which had no lemon and was also terribly made . Full of only whip cream. Never going there again.

We ordered their pot roast and mashed potatoes dinner for our 45 guests and it tasted amazing! All our guests loved it! ♥️
