I'm so excited about this awesome business in the Lakwood area. Fancy/high tea is on Sunday's, and you need a reservation. But it is so worth it. For $65 dollars a person, you get unlimited tea (they have a variety of them, black or fruity). Then your own 3 tiered course full of delicious sweet and savory items. The owner's are husband and wife, and the husband does the sandwiches while the wife does the baking. Honestly, I was blown away by the attention to detail...
If you haven’t tried the Sunday afternoon High Tea here, you are missing out on one of Lakewood’s most treasured tea houses. The tea selection is delicious and the treats for the trays are delicious. I’m never disappointed and the Owner is so kind. Please make sure you try them out- and they have baked goods during the week too!
I have been a long-time customer here, about 19-20 years, and the food never fails to delight me. Excellent sandwiches, my favorite soup (chicken and wild rice), delicious quiche, huge tender scones with clotted cream and both lemon curd and raspberry jam, and the most decadent treats for dessert.
