I've eaten here many times over the years and it is not as good as it once was. On my last visit, the service was poor to mediocre, and the presentation was slipshod. Chinese food can be very distinctive in its sauces, but this last time it was almost like it had been poured from a can. The restaurant itself is dank and worn. I had the feeling that most of their business was take-out.
Tacoma Szechuan is a standard favourite of ours, but it's getting more and more expensive (or so it feels!). We ordered delivery and got the beef chow fun, dried cooked string beans, tofu with hot garlic sauce, and one steamed rice. It was 70$ (with delivery and tip)!! The green beans were AMAZING and the tofu and beef were good, but it was too expensive for us to consider eating there twice in a trip.
Before anything else, just wanted to say this place was pretty much just ok. We ordered a few things: 1 Chow fun was slightly bland. You can taste there’s something there but just not enough flavor. 2 Mongolian beef was sorta the same. Not enough flavor. I think they tried to compensate for that by putting a TON of onions. 3 Hot and sour soup was salty and barely sour. Love the mushrooms in there though and the consistency is perfect. Not thick or thin, just right. 4 Salt and pepper prawns was the best dish for the night. Still needs a little bit of seasoning but compared to the rest of what’s on the table, it was the best seasoned one. So like I said earlier, for our first experience it was just ok. Sad to say but we’re probably not be coming back.
Closed or under renovation.
Been going here for years and love it every time. It’s the only place I like to go to for Chinese food around here. Lunch specials are great and portions are big
Service was great. Waitress gave us great wonderful details about menu and really good recommendations.
Outstanding clean place only been there for lunch specials but been there many times.excellent lived and drve in Seattle for many years been going to Chinatown in Seattle for 45 years as good as jade garden or tai tung
The best way to describe this place is like paying $10 for a cheese burger and then McDonald's arrives. The meal was acceptable but Chinese food that costs $13 a plate AND THEN they charge extra for rice should be delicious or have huge portions this resturant did not meet either.
The food was amazing! The service was great! The orange chicken was insanely good. The rice was very good as well.
Reasonable prices, great service and very tasty food.

The only authentic Chinese food we can find in the South Sound. Great food, service, and people.
Worse service ever. We had all-you-can-eat, but we waited 10 minutes for each order. The woman is reluctant to serve more you if you had too much.
We ordered hot pot all you can eat, it takes forever for them to serve meat every time. We also asked them to add the soup into our hot pot and they just poured water into it. The service was awful, Not Recommended AT ALL!!!
I grew up in Tacoma and I must say the Chinese food has finally come to Tacoma staff treat you with the utmost respect the food is very delicious authentic and tasteful
The food was ok. The waitress was really nice and helpful in figuring out what would work best for us and our 4 kids. I liked the tea and Green Beans and Chicken dish.
