We just moved to the local area and found this place. True to other reviews it had good vegan options, with a section on the menu for tofu dishes and one for vegetable dishes. I had Tofu Kung Pao, next time I’ll try the Mongolian Tofu or one of the vegetable dishes. Friendly prompt service, nice casual atmosphere.

Still some of the best Szechuan style food in Tacoma. Go in person and get yourself some

Best Chinese place I have ever been to!! Literally every single thing we got was delicious. The pricing was so reasonable, the portions were huge, and the staff was so friendly and kind! Best sesame shrimp I have ever had, and the chow mein was delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

That food was so mid… kinda mad I didn’t just order Panda Express. Everything was so bland it made my tongue mad.

Best Chinese food in Tacoma--hands down. Although a lot of people do take out from this place, I love to eat in. The staff is amazing with young children and my kids are obsessed with their fish tank.

Appetizers are amazing. We can't pass on the pot stickers or the crab ragoons. My go to for dinner is the vegetable chicken. Unlike other restaurants, they actually have a good number of vegetables.

Kid-friendliness: Staff is great with kids.

Do not come to this place. Bad food and even worse service. We were forced to pay 18% tip due to party size. The waitress knew and essentially did not provide service. I had the knife shaved noodle. The texture and taste are off. The noodle tastes like raw dough.

Worst Chinese restaurant in the Seattle area. Food: worse than anything I could get for the same price. Meat and seafood in the hotpot are not fresh and very small amount for 60 dollar hotpot. Veggies are all the cheapest options. Noodle they said they make fresh but taste worse than frozen noodle. Service: They know we have 6 people and they will charge tips automatic anyway. Did not even show up once to fill water, and let us waited for one hour while they serve the small tables where they can earn more tips. Very surprised that they can survive in the Seattle area.

Amazing food, all my favorites like orange chicken, chow mein, and egg foo young. All of the dishes came out separately, would have preferred to dish up a little bit of each plate at the same time. Staff are very friendly and attentive, boxed up our leftovers for us. Not a fan of the tables being sticky though.

Not bad chinese food....everything was good but not excellent. Bbq pork was very dry, garlic green beans were perfect.

I haven’t come here for a while, final went with my friend yesterday. We have been waiting for half an hour and no one provide use water, all we have on the table just menu. We finally ordered on the 40 minute after we been in the store. Another 30 minutes we only have two cold dishes and two water. We don’t want to wait anymore, when we went to front desk and pay for the bill, our food literally just sitting on the counter. They said they are too busy just because they had a big Togo order, I tried to say that’s not an excuse…
Everything in this store now is 1 star for me, I used to love to come here…never come back again.
Spicy tofu for lunch special, you told me this is 12.99 for just this small portion? Not try to be picky, but this is not I have before…

Ordered thru uber eats and received my order and the menu never mentioned it being hot and spicy only thing palatable was the chicken fried rice. Not good. Z$75 down the drain 2 days before Christmas.

They actually got an updated “Okay,” as of last week it seems, so that’s a win in my book.

Don’t be fooled by the “Needs Improvement,” because the only thing that needs improvement is their English (Obviously just jokes) that’s probably why the food is so damn great, I mean the Tofu Restaurant next door has an “Okay,” and that’s been there forever, (the health department is probably just racist, go figure) and the food is just as BOMB as Tacoma Szechuan.

The people here are always very nice - the guy at the front (maybe the owner?) is always great and very welcoming. On top of that the good is delicious so we always enjoy coming out here, well worth a stop (or a few!)
