It's a nightmare. I don't expect a lakehood bar to be a sedate gentleman's club but it attracts the worst people with the worst taste in music, think tent city with a liquor license. If I wanted to scream to have a conversation I'd remove my uncle's hearing aid.

First time here and the last time here. We were drinking top shelf tequila. I bought 4 Don Julio 1942. Which emptied the bottle the owner suggested San Matia reposado said it tasted just like 1942. Bought 2 shots and they were horrible. He told us he would take 20% off and he didn't honor his word. When confronted he then retracted. After speaking to him he got aggravated . The girl who was bartending was very rude. Come to find out they are dating. Did not feel very appreciated by either one of them. After explaining how we felt that he retracted what he said, he then said you got to get the hell out of here and kick us all out. We spent $300 at this place in a couple hours. Will never return to this place ever again. I will make sure none of my friends go there either. Make sure to separate your checks if paying separately. I've never been to a bar where they charge a gratuity. When people come into bars they usually do come in large groups. Even though we were only a party of six. I thought that gratuity was more for restaurants.

After looking at some of these reviews, I feel that some of them are coordinated and targeted reviews. My experience has been very welcoming and enjoyable. All staff is attentive and very cordial. The food is always evolving and just getting that much better! Absolutely my favorite place!

This bar is a great place to hang out and relax after a long week of work. The atmosphere is relaxing and the bartenders are amazing. They all are so personable and are friendly to everyone and remember who you are. The food is delicious as well. I'm glad I found this place.

The monster pizza was ALWAYS off the hook!! BUT the past few months things have changed! And NOT to the better, (so sad)it was VERY MUCH LACKING in the topping dept. What happened to the sausage??? It was great, flavor and TEXTURE now there's hardly any to find, not sure where the hamburger went either, and pouring more sauce on it doesn't make it better. And what is happening with the crust???
Just a shout out to all of our amazing singers and dancers over the past 10 years at the Fan Club . We have enjoyed and appreciated all of your support, along with meeting so many amazing people. With that said, Eddie and I are no longer at the Fan Club Friday and Saturday nights.

Busy place on a Friday night. Diverse crowd. Super friendly DJ who got us out on the dance floor between karaoke songs. Good cider on tap. We had a blast and will be back 🙂

My boyfriend and I have come here a few times. However, there is a bartender there named Kaelyn who we have had the last 3 or 4 times we have went. We come to play pool and usually order food. But as soon as we walk in we get glares from her and cannot get service. This has happened every time we have went. She will watch where we sit and ignore us, and when she finally comes over, which is usually 10 minutes later she claims "I didn't see you come in" when she has made eye contact with us as we entered. And we are usually met with a bad attitude. The night before Thanksgiving we went to play pool and order pizza. We were there maybe an hour and had to go to the bar to get her to serve us and when our pizza came she threw it on the table and said "here's your pizza" and walked off. Didn't bother to ask if we would like another beer or anything. We have never been rude or disrespectful to her or anyone else in there so I don't understand what her problem is. Or why we are treated differently, but my only guess is she's prejudice against anyone who's not white. We have watched her interact with the regulars and she appears super nice to them but when it comes to my boyfriend and I we are noticeably treated different. Needless to say we will never go there again and will tell everyone the same thing. Too bad, to lose customers over a salty waitress that's prejudice.

This is a neighborhood bar that I've been going to for almost 20 years but just occasionally. It's not my first preference. The food isn't terrible but I am always disappointed with the service. If you want another drink within a reasonable amount of time, you have to go up to the bar. Don't expect a server/bartender to come around very often. I'm also disappointed that they haven't made any improvements over the years. It's old, dingy, and dirty. The flooring in particular is gross. At times there also seems to be an unpleasant odor. The last time I visited a few weeks ago I also had an unpleasant experience with a female employee/manager. I have heard there's a new owner. I hope they make improvements and it can be a place I enjoy going to again.

After 1 round of 8 shots for a party of 10 I was cut off to order a 2nd round of 8 since 2 people were driving. Also just a heads up they said any group over 6 will get a group tax. So each shot went up $2. The waitress said she was the manager so what can you do? Fun place and I live in Oakbrook so it would be fun to come here more.
