“A huge part of the Sleeping Lady resort experience. I kind of feel like it’s the heart of the whole compound and it was so sad to stay there and not see it open. The staff is understandably vague about the timeline of re-opening, but I sure hope it comes back soon.“

“The Squirrel Tree restaurant and Resort is the " go to" place for us locals. Good food, friendly helpful staff and plenty of entertainment including live music several days a week, pool tables, dart boards, bingo night and a huge outdoor area with cool lights, corn hole and more. There plenty of seating and a fire pit as well. If you have an EV there is a charging station in the back!. For campers there is an RV resort as well for other travelers check out the motel. You will want to check it out!“

“Absolutely wonderful bar. I was told to go to another bar, in the area. I didn't like it. This bar was fabulous. Wonderful bar staff, great, friendly security, and an amazing DJ. A most to visit, especially on a weekend night.“

“We had lunch at the cellar. Barely noticed the sandwich board but soup sounded right! The food, all of it, was the best in Leavenworth. Soups, sandwiches and the giant pretzel were excellent. Not packed as some food choices on ground level which was another benefit! Great value.“

“Last summer my boyfriend, kids and myself were stranded with a busted belt on the boyfriends harley in the parking lot of the squirrel and the boyfriends mom was able to get us a room at the last minute at the 59er. the squirrel provided us with a free meal and water for the dog. the people at both places were amazing and I will forever be grateful for the hospitality that was shown. the milkshakes were top notch in the hot sun. thanks you toxeveryone who helped us out!! xoxo“

“Very nice dining experience. We were looking for somewhere that was providing St. Patrick Day food and drinks and were not disappointed! Service and ambiance were on point. Food was delicious and fresh - we had the steak skewers as an appetizer, The Murphy sandwich (Reuben) and Shephards Pie. Colcannon was outstanding! Restaurant was clean and comfortable. Would dine here again!“
