Unspectacular. Food reflects a food distribution company rather than something worth the price you pay. Steamer clams and chowder were bland and the half crab portion was lack luster for $35. We arrived before the dinner rush and watched plate after plate of mounded lettuce and tiny shrimp be delivered and the entire experience took us two hours. The hostess (blonde gal) looked like she hated life and didn’t give us kid menues which took additional time to hunt down....
On our way out of Long Beach. My Gf and our friend where hungry for seafood and every other restaurant was closed and we came acrossed Drop Anchor Seafood & Grill. When our friend went in and talk to the waiter they where about to close, but the she mentioned that we came from a long ways away and we where very hungry. Ok food for a great price. The salmon fish and chips was a little dry and the steamer clams were good but fairly plain. That said, you get bang for your buck here and if you’re looking for a more affordable seafood option they deliver. Not bad but I wasn’t wowed.
