Live music was so loud it drowned out conversation. The asparagus soup was absolutely inedible. All six diners at our table agreed it was terrible. Prices were very high. The pork schnitzel was good but should have been accompanied by mashed potatoes instead of weird little purple potatoes, and the price, $38.00, was crazy high. My ch better restaurants in town.
The pickled fish has the best view of the ocean of any restaurant in Long Beach. That alone is reason enough to go, but the food and drinks are excellent as well. Also, our server, Randall, was such a delight. He immediately understood our vibe and did an excellent job balancing timely service and casual banter.
