I had the crab melt and it was pretty good. Chowder is about average and beer is beer. Staff was kind.

An old lady at front pointed to a no dog allowed since over shoulder then said " we're closed.". I was a bit confused at first but realized she's been drinking a bit so I apologized and walked away.

We were walking by looking at all the shops and found this place by accident. We decided to stop in for a quick bite and we were pleasantly surprised. You need to walk up to the counter to order, then they bring your food and drinks to your table. We only ordered calamari strips and clam chowder, but the portions were really big and the calamari was cooked perfectly. The clam chowder was definitely one of the best we’ve ever had. I will definitely go back to try other items. The waitress was great!

Stopped by for lunch on my daughter's birthday. I had the ahi tuna fish and chips. Pretty good! Not the best I've ever had, but pretty good. Staff seemed friendly, but stressed. Whatever it was I hope it gets better. The place is for sale, so perhaps that had something to do with it. Good beverage selection and a relaxed no hurry atmosphere.

The service is ok but the food to me is just horrible especially compared to the rest of restaurants in town. When I get seafood I expect it to be fresh and the fish does not taste that way. The breading was falling off and the fish was chewy. The chicken strips had a weird sweet flavor and was way too hard.

Made ourselves regulars here during our stay in the area. The cod fish n chips were SOOO good. Locally brewed beer was tasty. Even on a very very busy weekend (4th of july) it wasn't very busy inside at all. The barrels made into tables smell so good when you walk in. The bartender server lady was trying really really hard to be nice, our first few visits she was short & seemed annoyed to serve us. Overall, a really great place w good beer & delicious food!

Great service, great decor, excellent food, and the red head bar tender was amazing! We came in one day for a couple drinks, had an amazing time chatting it up with the bar tender, and saw food being served that looked delicious! So we made sure to come back by the next day for a late lunch with friends. The food did not disappoint! It was the best thing all of us ate out the entire weekend we were in Long View! It was absolutely amazing! Plus we noticed the second day we were there, it looked like they had a few board games available to play, a stack of children's books available for kids to read, and really cute hand made bracelets for sale. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in town!

Food (tuna tacos with fries) was just OK. Tuna seemed fresh but the flavor of the deep fried crust was very blan. Atmosphere is good, but the red head waitress taking orders behind the bar is rude. She was snappy with the old people in front of me as well to me and my wife. Be sure you know your table number before you order or she will be rude to you about it. I guess we are supposed to know this waking in?

Food was good enough to earn a couple stars, but the Trump 2024 bill on the wall at the bar means we wont be back. Figured we should let anyone else who believes in progress and not recession to know before you choose this place to patron.Edit: Response from the owner is definitely dropping to one star. Thanks for confirming we wont be back! ❤️ Seems like another Amy's Baking Company.

The “crab” on the crab melt tasted like it was spoiled. Tried to hide the low quality of their shellfish with a mountain of cheap cheese, served on a hockey puck of an English muffin that was probably bought at Dollar General. I’ve been sh*tting myself in the hotel bathroom all afternoon since eating here. Totally ruined my trip. The clam chowder was good.

I would say this place is between a 3 and 4 *, but I'm feeling generous, so I'll say 4. We were walking around, thinking about chowder when we happened by this place. Found a decent table by the window even though it was a bit busy to start. We ordered mozzarella sticks to start, while I ordered hali and chips and friend ordered the hali wrap. All was well and good with people coming and going. I liked the mozzarella sticks and halibut breading. Not too heavy. My friend enjoyed her wrap. Here is the weird part. You order your meal at the bar first and then find a place to sit. A lady drops off the food and berates us for not saying the number of the table we were sitting at when we ordered. There is no number anywhere. No number on the table, on the barrel, on the floor, on the ceiling, on the window, on our foreheads, nothing. Heard the same thing happen to another person. It was all very odd. But, would come again because food and ambience was good. I must not have been wearing magic glasses to see the table number, but will ask for a pair if I happen to stop in again.Would recommend.

Wonderful atmosphere and the beer was top tier. I personally was in love with the peanut butter stout and could have had several more glasses. Come in, take a load off, and enjoy.

Sat 22 Oct 2022 (3.5 Stars)Looking for Seafood, since we were at the coast. The "Cannon Balls" (deep fried mushrooms) were the best thing we had at this location. The Chowder was pretty good. The fish and chips were below what we were expecting. Small and not tasty.Staffing was two people, one counter and one cook. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, but 1/2 to 3/4 full when we left. You order at the counter, pickup at the counter, and bus your own table. The decorations were fitting and nice for the restaurant style and menu.A sign at the cash register said "The restaurant was forvsale."
