This is the second time we have dined here. Each time the fried foods (like sweet and sour chicken) have had a burnt flavor to them. I suspect it's from using old frying oil. It needs changed. But, the crab puffs are excellent!
This other wise 4 star restaurant serves 5ive star Hot Sour Soup and somewhat local taste adapted and some fairly authentic Chinese food meals in very large portions at prices affordable for their local industrial town customer base. I return for the Hot Sour Soup, Singapore rice and crispy egg rolls.
Four stars is an over all rating. What is 5 star exceptional about Panda inn is that Panda makes the best Hot Sour Soup of any I have found in my travels in Washington State out side of Seattle..
Theirs is very nearly the best hot sour Soup I have had in a restaurant anywhere. I live over a hundred miles away from their restaurant but i drive from Lacey WA to Beaverton Oregon and return perhaps 20 to 25 times each year. I stop in Longview to buy a large order of their...
