Wonderful time at the 2024 Easter Sunday event today. Delicious food, great music, cornhole. Everyone is having a great time, even all the kids. Great job to everyone who helped put this together.

The Brady is great. So,was the lunch I enjoyed prior to purchasing the brandy. Next, the raspberry vodka and elderberry cider.

Variety of apples for the picking, go for the cosmic crisps IMHO. You can walk or take the tractor wagon. They have a great setup with a fire pit, corn maze, cafe and a distillery. The staff are so lovely, thank God I picked up the peanut butter because it is the most delicious PB I've ever had. Pastries are amazing and best of all... Dog friendly!

I was here towards the end of July this year (2023), which was not apple season yet, but I thought it looked like a cool place to visit even without the apple picking.I visited the market cafe first when I arrived for lunch. I did their half sandwich/half salad with the veggie sandwich and 10 mile salad. The sandwich was a little oily but really tasty. I loved the brea The salad was supposed to come with house vinaigrette but came with a cup of what I think was pure olive oil. I just dipped my fork in the oil before taking a bite to moisten things up and it oddly enough worked - the apples were juicy enough to add enough flavour to make this a nice salad on their own, but would have been way nicer to get an actual vinaigrette. I had an apple cider slushy and a Dutch apple pie too, which were both amazing, especially the pie. It was three months ago and I still remember the flavour of the apples and the rich crumb! The baked goods in the case all looked great. It was a bit slow to get my good, maybe because a group of 6-7 ordered right before me, but the server was super nice. After lunch, although the orchard wasn’t open for picking, I went out to walk the nature trail out back, and the empty orchards were open just to walk around too. The nature trail is short but a nice little walk going over a creek. It’s mostly shaded, which was a big relief in the summer heat. The gift shop inside, which was my next stop, has many locally produced home goods and snacks. Interesting to check everything out. I bought a box of Washington apple green tea here, which I’ve been enjoying since. Friendly clerk here too, and she offered help while I was looking. A/C in the store and cafe.Last stop was the distillery room. I had to make this quick to catch the bus so I only sampled one spirit, a pumpkin spice brandy (I’m not sure if I remember the type of alcohol correctly so it could’ve been something different, but definitely pumpkin spice). It was amazing, the alcohol was strong and the savoury pumpkin really came through and complimented the spirit, and it didn’t taste artificial like cheap pumpkin spice spirit.I’m sure apple picking is great, but this is a fun stop even during the off season for a nice lunch in a unique setting, quality spirits, and a nice gift shop showcasing quality local goods.

A fun place during apple season especially. Lots of things for families to do. There's a cafe, a gift shop, and an on-site distillery. A donut making machine and hayrides for the kids makes it special during apple season and the holidays. Open Wednesday through Sunday.

Have you ever been to a place, that you got something from, like Bellewood Farms & Distillery ( @bellewoodfarms ), in Bellingham, WA and realized that there's so much MORE there!!! Well, I originally called this place the "Peanut Butter Jar Place," because I'm OBSESSED with PB and my coworkers got me some of the tastiest stuff here! (As someone who roasts and makes their own PB, at home, this is a big deal! ) I heard that I needed to check out this cool farm, because they have a STORE and cafe! Well, thank goodness I made it up there, with only 20 minutes to spare, because any longer and I think I would've bought one of EVERYTHING!!! They have a Distillery too! (I'll need to go there, next round! ) Not to mention...they have stellar customer service!!! Andi is your girl! She's so sweet and helpful! Let's you know how their goodies are made from scratch and the tastiest around ~ it's TRUE y'all!!! I mean, I could've spent the whole day, up there! Thank you Bellingham, for having all of these delicious hidden gems! #BellewoodFarms #Distillery #Cafe #BellinghamWA #localgem #fruits #art #cheese #spirits #everythingyummy #supportlocal #localfavorite Instagram: NelzLovesIt

I honestly don't typically leave bad reviews, and I want to start off by saying I have come to Bellewood every year for years since I moved to this area in 2015, and usually have great things to say about the place! Today we were treated really rudely by the cafe staff. My spouse inquired really politely about the presence of a potential allergen in the cooking ingredients (keeping in mind we're well aware it's not always possible to be certain about these kinds of things and we appreciate/understand that), and the staff got visibly irritated and said "maybe you should bring your own food from now on" in such a punchy way I was really taken aback. We were just out to have a fun afternoon and honestly the experience was so off putting. Next year we might just try a different farm for our autumn fun. I empathize that folks are busy and probably stressed in the kitchen, but there's really no call for rudeness like that. Bummer.

I have tried twice in the last two years in October and both experiences were horrible. Two years ago I was going through cancer and had a newly adopted son with respiratory issues so we went to the pumpkin patch as soon as they were open to avoid any crowds. Once we got our pumpkins, we wanted to pay for them outside as they offer that option and we were treated very poorly as it was not set up yet and we were obviously being an inconvenience to them. This year we went with our family again and the pumpkins were too big for our needs but we took a walk through the corn maze and apple orchard, my younger kids ended up picking a couple apples so I tried to do the right thing and pay for them in the store upon leaving. I was told I did this incorrectly as I was supposed to take a bag and fill it. Okay, then let me just have the 3 apples or pay $1 each, nope they charged me the in store price and I paid over $2.50 each for a U-pick apple. We will never be back as their rudeness and greediness is too much for me! There are many wonderful farms in Whatcom county, choose someplace other than here.

My friend who lives up north invited us here and we've made it an annual tradition every since. We drive well over 2 hours each way because it's worth the experience. The orchard, activities for the kids, wagon ride, food, market-it's all so great and high quality. We have fun every year!

Amazing experience. Store had a large selection including apple cider. Outside was very cultural. Apple cider donuts and fritters were great. Pumpkin patch. Tons of orchards for various types of apples. Can pick apples with a selection of 3 different bags.

Beautiful farm in Lynden/Bellingham area! Came here on a Saturday morning and enjoyed picking deliciously fresh cosmic crisp, fuji, honey crisp, and tsuguru apples! What a treat! Do make sure to go and purchase your bag for picking apples as soon as you park so everyone in your party can put their wristband on and either walk or ride out to the orchard. I read the reviews ahead of time that say folks who didn't know they had to pay first were scolded. Come prepared and enjoy the experience!

We came in on Saturday afternoon and enjoyed our time here! Where do we even begin here? In our case, we started with some spirits samples at their distillery (Washington's first apple distillery, apparently!). They are generous with their samples, and we got to try all of their spirits. I have always been a fan of their Raspberry Vodka (going on for 7 years now). This was the first time I had tasted their gin-we bought a bottle of that immediately, along with their apple brandy. I wish they sold the Raspberry Vodka in a smaller size-it is one of my favorite vodkas of all time. We liked that they had recipe cards for each of their spirits. We walked through their general store-here you can buy all sorts of things! Ciders, beers, hot sauces, popcorn, home goods, and gifts. Always worth giving your local farmer's store a look. They have all their apples on display. We ended our day with picking pumpkins. We appreciate that they pre cut the pumpkins so that we can just pick them up and then take them to the front so that they can weigh them before giving us a price. We were having fun just wandering around looking at pumpkins. There were lots of people there, but plenty of space to roam around and do your own thing. They had hot foods for sale and they also offer rides through their farm. It was fall fun for people of all ages (minus the distillery part of course). This is always worth the visit!

Coming from Seattle, this farm was quite the drive but overall a very fun experience. We drove about an hour and a half. They have free onsite parking. There is a lot going on at this spot and lots of people into the afternoon. We entered their farm store first where they also sell apples and have lots of cute merchandise available for purchase. We went to their restaurant area to order some lunch. I got their apple and ham panini and my friend got their apple curry soup. We also tried their apple cider. All of it was really good, my only comment is the food took a pretty long time to come out. They also have bathrooms near the restaurant area and indoor and outdoor seating available. We came on a nice sunny day. It was actually pretty warm out. Prices when we went at the beginning of October, was a 6-9lb bag of u-pick apples for $20, 14-16lb bag for $32 or a 25lb bag for $55. My friend did the 6-9lb and my husband and I filled a 14-16lb bag. They are clear bags, so if you're looking for cute baskets, you won't get them. To get to the orchard, you can either walk or jump on their complimentary tractor which makes for really fun ride. The tractor comes often so wait time is minimal. When we went, they had lots of different apples available - we got their cosmic crisp, bellewood prince, honeycrisp, and fuji. No more tsugaru apples but we actually purchased some in their storefront along with caramel before leaving. My only note about U-pick is that this orchard had a ton of bees or hornets. They don't bother you if you don't bother them, but these bees really like their apples. In the outside area, by the shop they also have a cider donut stand Highly recommend buying some to eat! They are soo good!
