I used to together take out here all the time bc my mom lives in Lynden. But the last 2 times we went here and ordered the usual thing we always do it was not uo to their usual standards and quiet gross. So we thought maybe a funk and went back there a month later, and go figure same thing. So now we decided to not go there anymore. Kinda sad.

Was told to check this place out by my co worker, he raved about how good it was, sadly my experience does not mirror his.Ordering over the phone was simple, and quick, went in, and the restaurant was empty, only one table and one other person there picking up take out as well, it was late in to 6pm though so no big deal, my food was just coming up as I got there, paid, got my food and left, staff were friendly enough.Got home, opened my box, and the presentation was amazing, was kind of excited it looked so good, then I took a bite, just completely bland, devoid of any flavor, the orange sauce on the chicken barely tasted like anything let alone an orange sauce, the chicken didn't taste of anything, but the chow mein still looked good, then I took a bite, and again no flavor, a bit salty, but that's it, ate some more hoping it would get better but both dishes were just completely bland, even got a chemical taste off of the chicken my 5th piece. The roll that came with it was a solid okay, had some flavor but again mostly bland.Had to make sure I wasn't losing my sense of taste, grabbed something else to eat and all is well, so it's not meGave up after the chemical/bleach taste, the rest of the night my stomach didn't feel right.Cannot recommend this place.

Trash. Paid $62 for an order of orange chicken and received it super soggy and my wife ordered the beef and broccoli and it was super rubbery and not cooked thoroughly, chow mein was decent. Go literally anywhere in Bellingham instead.

Lynden Mandarin is hands down the best Chinese restaurant North of Bham! Not only do they cater to your requests kindly and without question, they are quick and absolutely delicious! Very nice people who run the place - I remember one evening my gf and I wanted to place an order but they were closing in five minutes (we didn't realize how late it was) and the lady there said she'll make our big order no problem at all. They closed extra late that night all because they were willing to help a customer.Beyond this, as I mentioned before, the food is outstanding for the price. I ask for a General Tso extra extra spicy with white rice and they make it exactly how I ask. It's always crunchy like it was freshly made, not soggy. Gf gets the chicken chow mein and loves it. They give you some eggdrop soup with your orders and it's perfect for a posteal cleanser!Love love love this establishment and will continue to go here at least once every couple weeks..thanks Lynden Mandarin!

Pretty standard Chinese fare. Everything was cooked fresh and tasted good but the restaurant is somewhat cold and empty feeling insde and not too pleasant to stay and eat at. Maybe more of a take-out place? The Chinese couple that were working had limited social engagement skills and were fairly robotic in their order taking and delivery. It was prime dinner-time on a nice spring day and we were the only people in the whole restaurant. ???Parking: Not great. Have to park on busy side streets with lots of vehicle traffic to negotiate.

Their egg flower soup is to die for. So delicious. Their sweet sour pork is very tender and flavorful. We have takeout once a week from different restaurants in Lynden, this is our favorite!

Well Insulated

We tried this place for the first time today and are happy that we did. The food was fresh and delicious with generous portions. This will be our go-to Chinese restaurant from now on.
