Just wanted to come on here and say thank you to the amazing young waitress who took care of us tonight. You made us feel human again. After having an awful experience with racism at the newsroom we decided to come here. We always get treated with so much respect and kindness. Definitely will be recommending the rusty wagon more often! Thank you to all the servers who continue to make everyone feel welcome.
Returning from the Lynden area, locals recommended this themed restaurant for a lunch stop I had initially passed up on the road from Bellingham. Heading inside, the place is very clean and airy. Staff was friendly and attentive. Everyone is treated well whether a family or single traveler. The food, burger, fries, and a beer were fresh and tasted better than many I have paid much more for. The salad bar was also well maintained. My new go-to place to eat when in this direction....
Breakfast is decent and severs have been nice. But… I had the worst burger I have ever had there, downright terrible. Having cooked in a restaurant and know the shortcut they take. Their burgers are very likely frozen and placed under a lid to cook and defrost at the same time, making them mushy. There’s no grilled char on it.
