Came in with my mom on Friday night ... It was very busy but that was fine and even though it was only our second time here ... I knew exactly what I wanted - shrimp fettuccine Alfredo with the Caesar salad. We were hungry and didn't mind the wait as it was busy and but we were celebrating the end of finals week. It did take about 45 minutes to get our food but it was well worth the wait.Big portions, the Caesar salad dressing is so delicious I would love to buy some to take home, the Alfredo sauce with the garlic bread is chef kiss. Mom had the BBQ ribs with lasagna...... The bbq sauce and the ribs was the best I have had in years (since raising my own beef) I cannot remember the last time I got ribs and didn't regret it. I had a migraine all day and she had just made fresh coffee which I think I drank most of the pot. When it was time to go the waitress brought us a box to carry our to go boxes out because we had so many.No pictures because we were so hungry but we will definitely be back. We have had our kitchen in a remodel process for 3 years so we like to eat out as a treat, something we can't make easily at home... Syros is amazing food, a nice place to just decompress with mom.The leftovers the next day are amazing too ? we love Syros!

Saturday afternoon February 17 about 1:30.Waitress was rude. No smile or manners. Vanished. Hard to get her attention to order, when we needed the check she was scarce. She asked if we were paying separately, with a very snotty attitude.We left cash payment with tip on the table when leaving because we could not find her.She chased us down the block and ran up to us saying "we did not pay", and that "everyone gets dementia". I told her to look on the table. She said she did not know that was a thing.We won't be back.Background music was playing stereo but only one speaker side was working so very annoying.

I ordered to go; Lamb Gyro,fries, and salad with baklava for dessert. The salad was great, the Gyro was good (although there was too much olive oil and it dripped on my new shirt leaving a stain o can't get out), the Baklava tasted like it was cooked in the same oil, as the fries and was too dry. Having lived in the Mediterranean region I am a bit particular about Mediterranean food.

My wife loved her lasagna. I had a meatball sandwich, and lemon rice chicken soup. Last time I had the sausage link sandwich. All were very good.
Don't go on a Saturday night if you want to be served in less than an hour. 45 minutes after ordering had only received a small salad (and not even the way I asked). Had concert tickets so had to leave. No apology or comping of drinks or salad for the inconvenience of leaving hungry. In fact, server and management acted rudely toward us. Will never be back!
Went in at 4 25pm today Sept 1sr. We wanted 10 minutes to be seated. Ordered our food and drinks. Got our Greek salads, another 30 minutes before food arrived.We asked for our check and a box for our take home food. 10 minutes before we got our check, but no take home container. Finally signed receipt. Still no container for leftovers after 45 minutes waiting, we left without leftovers. Food was great however service was horrible. Couldn't get napkins or refills on water or pepsi.We left quite a bit of food on table that we paid for. Due to lack of service.

It had been a couple of years since we last drove down to Lynden. The town has not been able to fully revive since covid closed most shops but still was really pretty with the flower displays and very neat and clean all through town. After we did some window shopping and decided to get some lunch. We were celebrating our 54th anniversary and usually we went out for Greek food. We saw that Syros was open and went in. As we entered we were met by Johnny and shown to our table. The restaurant is very big and most welcoming. We ordered a drink and lunch, while we waited Johnny made us feel like old family with our conversations and stories. Our lunch arrived and I had a Beef gyro and salad and my wife had a chicken gyro and fries. The fries were special as they had onions and fresh parsley on them and they were to die for. The portion sizes were very large and the price was very reasonably priced. Next time we are visiting Lynden we will definitely return for lunch or maybe go into the adjoining bar for a drink and maybe some appies and more great service and talks with Johnny.
