The Mill at Seventh is a unique oasis with a speakeasy feel in the heart of Lynden. The staff are exceptional and the food is on point! I appreciate their extensive selection of wines and willingness to try new cocktails. The live music is amazing too!

We used to love the Mill before things just got weird. It's hit or miss for a Hostess and if there is no Hostess, you just get ignored. If you ask to sit, you get told all of the tables are "Reserved." We just wanted a drink before the show at The Claire but No, we were treated like a bother. It's a disappointment because it is a lovely place with good food. I know it's not the owner's fault, or maybe it is, but the people who do get to sit and grab a drink at the bar or tables are very judgey. I'd rather go someplace where I'm welcome regardless. By the way, while waiting for the Will Call to open, I could see empty tables everywhere. I hope she manages to stay open but it can do it without me or my money or recommendation.

The new menu was a small subset of a former menu: one choice of soup, several salads, and a few flatbread options. The salads were ok; my husband liked his, but mine was a bit vinegary. I ordered a side of bread which was very bland and served with a small bowl of vinegar with a splash of oil and no seasonings. The atmosphere was nice, but I probably won't go there again.

Just left there. Only an appetizer menu was left at the table, nothing else. Horrible service and we were one of 2 tables. Met a friend there for my birthday dinner. Gonna have a hard time going back or recommending to others. Waitress received a poor tip accordingly, not by me but by the person paying.Do better

We have never been to this place before. My husband heard about it and thought it would be nice to take me for my birthday. He made reservations just in case. We showed up stood at the counter for 5 minutes waiting for someone to help us. It was not busy just a few tables. After someone finally acknowledged us, she looked to the other women and made a snobby remark " oh the reservation is here", when they walked back to get the table ready there was no word to us. We stood there for almost another 10 minutes while they went about there business. Finally one looked up and said you can go sit at the table in the back. Usually someone would say right this way or come get you when your table is ready. These ladies were rude and didn't say anything. When we finally got to our table the lady said she will be right with us. Shortly after she grabbed her stuff proclaiming very loudly if they want her to run errands she will be glad to go home and walked out back. We showed up at 6:03 we left about 6:30. In that time we were not asked if we wanted drinks or anything. We ended up leaving.

We have eaten here multiple times and always been satisfied . . . until today. The Mill is a little pricey, but the atmosphere is great and the food is usually quite good.My wife and I made special plans to eat at The Mill this evening, 12/29, and we showed up around 4:30 to do so. It was not busy at all. There was only one couple in the restaurant and three sitting at the bar. When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk, so we waited. After about five minutes two young girls finally walked in but given their attire we were not sure if they were employees or not. They looked directly at us, said nothing, walked behind the front desk, straight into the kitchen. No “Welcome, we’ll be right with you.” Nothing. Exceedingly unprofessional behavior. We waited another five minutes to be greeted and seated. Nothing. Even the woman at the bar called back into the kitchen (addressing one of the girls by name) to get us some service.Nothing. It was astonishing. We left. It’s not certain whether we will be back or not. We’ve enjoyed all our previous visits. Even met the owner and were impressed. This afternoon’s brief visit was a shockingly bad experience. The owner needs to be aware of this. It will kill the restaurant.

The Mill is one of my go-to dinner spots! The food and atmosphere are always exceptional, and the service can't be beat! If you want an amazing appetizer, get the apple crostini- you won't be disappointed!

The food was really good, I got pasta salad, which was beautiful, flavorful, and delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the veggies were nice and crisp. We also got the Maui Flatbread pizza. It was super good, and the coconut cheese was The service got 1 star, we were sitting outside, the waitress was not even slightly attentive, and the wait for anything was pretty excessive. The food came out staggered. Some people had their meal for 10 minutes before others arrived, which was a bit awkward.Atmosphere is scored neutral because we ate outside, the atmosphere inside I can't really comment on.

Came here for a late dinner. The outside was packed and waitress said dinner would take 45 minutes. But somehow everything worked out and we got our food faster than that. It has a good classic vibe, feels like an established place. I had The Lynden salad and it was delicious! There is lots of outdoor seating in the summer.

Outstanding burger. The brioche was crispy on the outside. The salad was made with fresh greens, real grated parmesan. The dressing on the side was delicious. Even the water was excellent.Did I mention the cheesecake?Ask for Beth. She's special.
