I absolutely love the peanut butter sauce over rice and is my favorite dish. Unfortunately, today I ordered through a 3rd party and when my lunch arrived, it was too salty to even eat. I got a refund from the 3rd party but wanted to let the restaurant know it's really salty today so they can change it before someone really complains. The woman told me it was me because other people have eaten and it's fine. A simple apology and "ill check into it" would be great but instead she turned into a me thing. Never ordering from here- especially if you are looking for customer service.

Bantaba is our favorite Gambian restaurant in the area. When my husband is feeling home sick it brings him right back to where he needs to feel better. We just had them cater for our daughter’s first birthday party and it was an absolute hit! Our guests loved the food and are now planning on going to their restaurant for take out dinners. Bantaba had amazing customer service and came in early just to make our order on time for the party and everything was fairly priced! Thank you so much, we will definitely be back soon!

Went to visit this place on a recommendation. First going in, it was cold. No heat. They did not have any beef, only chicken dishes. The chicken dish was alright, it was dry and not seasoned well enough, and a little burned on the grill. The plantains were good. The cooks/staff talk to much in the kitchen, I am warry of people talking and laughing over my food, without wearing masks. Inadvertent spit!

Delicious food! ?Zero regrets about trying something new. We had the Afra Lamb, chicken yassa, and fried plantains. We asked for a little side of spicy green sauce ?. Very, very delicious! We will be coming back again.Closed Monday through Wednesday according to their business hour sign.

This place has great super! However the customer service needs improvement. The fish Benechin wasn’t good due to missing sides. I ordered off of Postmates, after arriving to pick up my food I had to wait an additional 25 minutes after the Postmates app stated my order was ready for pick up. What I noticed while waiting is people were coming in placing orders and getting their food quickly, which I though was odd. This place definitely will make you wait if your not a person of their descendants, it doesn’t matter if you placed your order in advance you will wait for there people to be served FIRST. Which is a form of prejudice towards Americans. It’s not a culture difference they are highly intelligent individuals.

Made me wait 45 minutes for food, also unprofessionalism among the staff, food is good but not worth the hassle.

I was waiting for my order, while a customer talked to the guy behind the counter. That's when the customer pointed to a thing a freshly made food opened it, looked at it, pointed and touched it. Then he closed the food, didn't think anything of it cause I figured it was his. Then that customer leaves and a second order of fresh food arrives. The guy behind the counter then put it on top of the food the other guy touched and says "You're order is ready." I'm look at the guy trying to process and then ask " That's the food the other guy just opened and put his hands on." The guy behind the then says "No, it's ok." I then said "No, that isn't ok, that's disgusting." I then walked ou,, unbelievable. Don't come here or if u do make sure you see that no one rummage through your food first.

We were looking for something fun and unique for some out of town guests, this was AWESOME!!We waited well over an hour for the food (from calling in the order, waiting the 25-30 minutes we were told, showing up and waiting quite a while longer). They were busy and had a ton of people working in back, but need a dedicated customer service person it seems. It was totally worth the wait though, everything was so delicious and flavors we've never experienced before. Definitely recommend, and will be back - understanding it may take some time to get our order.
