My boyfriend and I stopped by here after a long drive from Kent as we are staying at a nearby hotel for a convention and it was pretty late so most places were closed. I had Dawa on my bookmarks for a long time ever since I saw videos about it and just the overall good reviews. We came in and saw that the place was pretty packed on a Thursday night but we were noticed quickly by a male employee and seated right away thankfully. Had a really pleasant surprise at DAWA — the food was genuinely delicious.
We ordered the pork bone hotpot, and the portion was enormous. It was mostly bones with smaller cuts of meat attached, but even with four people we still had more than half left over.
Our favorite dish was definitely the fried chicken, came with two different flavors of fried chicken. It was so good that every few bites someone at the table would say, “This is amazing.”...

Can’t complain about the entrées, but the kimchi appetizer is just cabbage with hot sauce thrown on it; very bland, not actually kimchi. The visual atmosphere in the main dining room is nice but they have their music way too loud most of the time. If you like having to yell in order to hear each other then this is the place for you. The restrooms are horrible. One of the sinks is leaking all over the floor, so you literally have to stand in a puddle while doing your business....
