Ka Won Korean BBQ Restaurant

We’ve been regulars here, but after today, we won’t be coming back. The food and service were both terrible. We had to ask multiple times just to get our waters refilled and to get enough rice for everyone. They came to the table with empty water glasses and didn’t even mention that they were adding an automatic gratuity to the bill. On top of that, the restaurant was filled with smoke because they didn’t even turn on the ventilation fans. Honestly, you’re better off going to H Mart, grabbing your own meat, and cooking it at home — same quality, way better experience.

Instead of showing you the bill with the itemized bill, they only show you the total amount and make you pay. I have no idea how they calculated the bill. The server at the counter is not very friendly! I will never go back.

Just go somewhere else. Servers were being hostile and talked behind my boyfriend’s back in Korean who is Korean thinking he wouldn’t understand like what? No wonder why the ratings are so bad. I guess it’s bad for a reason.

Came here the other day and there was a table of older Korean people clearly drunk after golf. They were yelling and stumbling all over the place. After about 1.5 hours of more drinking and yelling they finally got in their cars and left. This restaurant clearly over served this group so they could drive drunk.

Also the service is awful. We had no silverware or water for 45 minutes. We had to go to empty tables and get it ourselves. Never got refills on anything.

Food was very bland and small portions. The soups barely had any meat (almost like they skimped out on giving meat and tried to hide it since it’s a soup). Fish was burnt and they gave attitude when we asked for a new one because we didn’t want to eat burnt fish.

I’d recommend finding somewhere else to eat Korean food.

We’ve been to this restaurant many times and always ordered the same meat combo for around $79 to share. This time, however, we were treated with an incredibly rude and judgmental attitude, as if we were ordering too little. This time, we ordered 2 plates with around same price, The tone was disrespectful and unwelcoming. No one checked in with us about water, sauces, or anything else during our meal. We felt completely unwelcome. This experience was a huge letdown compared to our previous visits — we won’t be coming back.

But the worst part? After we paid, a staff member looked at our bill and threatened us not to come back, saying we weren’t welcome anymore — just because we didn’t tip enough due to the poor service.

I recently visited Ka Won Korean BBQ and had a fantastic dining experience. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of side dishes that perfectly complemented the main dishes. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere.

I was particularly impressed by the friendly and attentive service provided by the servers. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Their warm and welcoming demeanor added to the overall positive experience.

I'm not the one to really care if there is one strand of hair in our food but there was two strands in our bbq. They also removed the cold noodlea. Not what it used to be.
