Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya (Alderwood)

I ordered a To Go Garlic Tongkotsu. The girl said my name and handed me my order. Got home and I had Chicken broth with Roman noodles and an egg. I called and they told me that they found my order. They said they could refund me or I can come back and get the right one. I chose to go back. I didn’t get at least an apology or offered anything to make up for my lost time. Mistakes happen but it’s how you recover from them. They did not recover well. This Ramen was not that all that good! Really not impressed.

Quality has gone down. Soup was watery, bland and tasteless. Veges were missing and the meat slices were thinner than before. I am disappointed.

I got the wrong Ramen delivered but our waitress Jazlynn was so awesome and corrected it with her manager to change our order for free. It was so very kind. The ramen, even though it wasn’t what I ordered, was delicious! Absolutely love coming here! 10/10

The seats are weird, there is this tiny bolster type back to the seats so have good posture if you go here.
The curry and karage are AMAZING. The ramen is hit or miss, sometimes the flavor is lacking depth and I can't tell if it needs more salt or better broth seasoning.

Words cannot explain how badly I crave their chicken rich ramen everyday. The noodles are perfectly chewy and bounce. The broth has the right amount of flavor and not too much salt. And the toppings?! Ughhh, I can’t get enough of them! I’m actually obsessed with this place. And the staff are so friendly too! I feel so welcomed everytime I come here. Almost like a second home to me.

Great place! We come here every time we are shopping at the mall. It’s often crowded, but the ramen is worth the wait. We got gyoza multiple times it could be hit or miss once they were cold inside. Ramen is always good.

Consistently terrible service
My husband and I have frequented this location dozens upon dozens of times since November 2022 because we really like the ramen here and I'm very particular with ramen only because I don't care for plain tonkotsu broth, I really only like it with miso and I love the 2 types of miso they add to theirs.

99% of the time though, they make an error on my order because of my 2 very simple modifications: sub the meat for an extra egg and sub the shaved green onion for chopped green onion. What they consistently mess up on is that they bring my ramen with no onions at all; very simply fix, but incredibly annoying because of the following:

Trying to get a hold of ANY waiter is damn near impossible. Once they finally serve you, don't expect to be checked on at all or at least not until 2 minutes before you're ready to leave. The attitude of the waiters is very obvious they all hate their job, which has been a very obvious thing until just recently and only because there's like 2 people that actually smile now.

By the time you actually get a hold of someone to ask for something you need, they move at a SNAIL'S pace to get it for you. Our togarashi powder was completely empty and when I finally got someone's attention, it took almost 4 minutes to refill it all while I'm waiting to eat my food. The second offense this past Sunday 8/24, was that I needed an extra side of spicy miso paste because this time around, my miso ramen was clearly lacking any miso at all. It took the waitress almost TEN minutes just to bring it to us all while, ONCE AGAIN I'm waiting to continue my food, and it's getting cold. No apology, no sense of urgency, these kids working here clearly do not have an ounce of customer service skills in their body. While I was waiting for my miso paste, the FOUR tables surrounding ours were all trying to get a waiter's attention and some of them even had to get up and walk to the waiters to finally ask for what they needed. unacceptable.

I sent an email to Kizuki while waiting for the miso paste 2 days ago, and I'm still waiting for a response, however considering the service I so consistently receive at this place, I'm not surprised nobody has reached out to me yet.
