I bought beef teriyaki ($10.99) and chicken teriyaki ($7.99). The chicken teriyaki portion size is good since it has a lot of rice and a good amount of chicken (balance with the rice). However, the beef teriyaki portion size doesn’t make any sense. it has a lot of rice, and so little amount of beef. It doesn’t make sense to eat that much rice with that least beef. I came back to them to ask and complaint about it and they said that’s the portion and I have to pay $3 more for extra beef. It’s just ridiculous. I mean like I got a lot of chicken by paying $8, and a little of beef by paying $11 (extra $3 for less protein!?). I probably won’t go back to Sarku Japan again after this. Super dissapointing!

Everytime I come to Alderwood mall I have to stop here for lunch. The people are friendly service is fast and the food is awesome and tasty. I got the teriyaki beef this time i a lways get the chicken teriyaki the sell out fast of the beef but both are sssooo good. And the spring rolls Love this place

I always get the Chicken Bento or the normal Chicken Teriyaki and the food quality is always consistent. The employees are very nice and some of them can also speak Spanish. The boxes are so high quality that you can reuse them later as lunchboxes. It might not be possible due to health guidelines, but we can prevent so much waste if we were able to reuse these boxes at Sarku Japan
