The scallion pancakes were flaky and delicious! Best I'd had in decades. The wonton soup broth was tasty, delicious, and light, wontons full with chicken. The steamed bun dough was airy and flavorful, right proportion of dough to filling. Plan on methodically tasting everything on their menu!

Seattlites are lucky to have ample choices among Shanghai dim sum and noodle places, with several Din Tai Fung locations all over the city, and Dough Zones as well.
Being a Taipei native, I can honestly say that, both in Taiwan and stateside, DTF has gotten to be pricey and the portions skimpy; thus not a great value proposition.
T Dumpling isn’t the closest of your options for dumplings and noodles but its authentic homemade goodness, couple with massive portions, make it a compelling choice. On our recent visit we enjoyed steamed dumplings (15 to an order!!), wontons in chili oil (10 to an order, juicy and delicious), Dan Dan noodles, beef noodles, and scallion pancakes. (The scallion pancakes were excellent, fried up to crisp perfection,) We ordered knowing we’d want leftovers and were not disappointed. The spicy cucumber appetizer also deserves a mention not only for authentic flavor but portion size. We took home at least one full meal’s worth of food for two.
Another standout of T Dumpling is the friendly service from what appears to be members of a family from Guangdong province in China. It is precisely the kind of family-owned business you feel good supporting because they provide an excellent meal at an outstanding value. The drive to Lynnwood is the same 30 minutes we’d have driven to Bellevue for Supreme Dumplings but both food, service, and ambiance were superior at T Dumpling.

Surprisingly good dumplings. No, this is not din tai fung style Taiwanese dumplings but more china style dumplings, and they do it well. We especially like the pan fried ones which were not oily and very tasty. The dan dan was also good, tho less “hit you in the face” flavor but more subtle, it’s also not spicy and you have to add your own chilli oil (condiments on each table). The chilli wonton also was good but again subtle in flavor. Overall good experience, will be back.
We are foodies and have been disappointed a lot lately even having had read review before dining BUT this place blew my socks off, holy smokes other restaurants need to know the bar just got set higher! We had the Dandan noodles which were sooooo tastey im still amazed at how they got this flavor almost compared it to a top notch gravy, we also decided on the lamb and onion dumplings , shrimp and chive potstickers, chilli won tons and beef pancake, ALL excellent and different in cooking style and taste ALL affordable and decent portion sizes. As soon as we got there we were seated and orders came super fast even to go food was quick. The restaurant was also very clean thank you for your above and beyond service we will be returning:)
