An Austrian-themed coffeehouse with traditional Austrian drinks. The staff really know their pairings. I had the Kakentarte with a Salon Einspinner. The food and drink came efficiently, and a sparkling water was included with it. The tarte and the einspinner complimented each other perfectly, and the sparkling water, which I normally don't like plain, really helped tie everything together.

I’ve had my fair share of Starbucks and other coffee runs, but Kaffeehaus de Châtillon doesn’t just compete, it elevates. For when you want more than a caffeine fix; for when you want an experience. Do yourself a favor: THIS IS NOT A COFFEE SHOP that sells drinks like lattes or americanos. Order something you can’t pronounce, sip slowly, savor deeply. You’ll know you’ve found special.

Food is unique to Austrian affair and the savory croissant are great but staff is just point blank rude for reasons only known to them.

I love this place! As someone who lived in Switzerland for five years and the Middle East another five years, it is an absolutely coveted retreat from traditional Americana culture outside! these people know their coffee, they definitely know their pastries, and they know hospitality and etiquette. While yes, you have to look up from your phone and be aware of your surroundings, the staff has always been accommodating, explained things well and offered suggestions. They even offered to hold my father’s favorite pastries to the side for him if I call in which is such a sweet consideration with his disability. I like this place so much I want to simultaneously share it with everyone and keep it a secret as my oasis!

This the our go-to place for our special occasions: anniversaries (today), special friends, get-away-from-the-dog-for-awhile, and escape the world for a bit. So, yeah, we go here pretty often. :-)

This place is more what I would think of as a fancy tea shop than a coffee shop but it’s amazing. The chai is out of this world. The croissants are unbelievable. Must try if you’re in the area
