They make the best house fried rice in the area. The menu is rather extensive and is typical of Chinese restaurants. But the unique aspect of this restaurant is that they also serve dim sum all day. The service is good and the restaurant is clean. It is slightly on the expensive side though they do give you a lot of food. We ordered the house fried rice, the braised beef hot pot, the century egg and pork congee and the Chinese doughnut for $80 with tips. Would recommend.
Staff and environment were fine, but the food (dim sum) was bland and tasted "off" and did not taste fresh. I eat dim sum regularly and I was revisiting this restaurant after a few years and left now disappointed.
I'm leaving 5/5 stars for various reasons including but not limited to: loving hole-in-the-wall grub, being partial to no-frills (in a friendly way!) service, and being committed to supporting family-owned businesses. Not to mention liking eating good food, as many of us do.All the entree portions my partner and I ordered were generously portioned, easy to share or take home plenty of leftovers.
