“Rootwood Cider is a must-stop when you’re in the Lake Chelan area! The cider is always fantastic, and the staff is warm and welcoming.

We love the outdoor seating; it’s comfortable, relaxed, and never too loud. You can even reserve a sheltered table in advance, which is a great option. Our favorite ciders are the Harrison, Rosé, and Lake Effect, all super flavorful and well-crafted. The Buzzing Bee cider cocktail was also a standout!

“First visit to Chelan and we went here on a Thursday night to check out the music, apparently the first concert of the season…what a treat!! TCW is in a beautiful area. The place has been landscaped quite nicely. Great views of the lakes and valley below. The band that played that night, Travelers, were amazing. Lovely chilled Pinot Gris, great band, awesome views…perfect evening.“

“Wonderful afternoon at the Benson. Tip to visit this winery was from fellow traveler at The Logde. She touted as best views, light tasty bites, and delightful wines. Tried white wine flight with lemon feta cheese and crackers. Staff super friendly and helpful. My fellow traveler was not wrong aboutthis experience. We stayed on back porch and enjoyed the views and sips to the fullest. We loved all the sips and the Estate Curiosity and 2023 Chardonnay were favs.. There are several wineries on the same road but this one has amazing views while you enjoyed a cheer or two.“

“I worked here for about 3 summers. They are terrible to their employees and refused to let me treat a 2nd degree burn on my arm and made me continue to work even though I almost passed out from the pain. I still have the scar 1.5 years later, to this day it was still the worst pain ive experienced. Their responce was not to tell me about workers comp or to report my injury and not even put a first aid kit in the shop. They never wear gloves when touching your food which is very illigal and unsanitary. No one washes their hands when required to. The toilet room is the store room with open containers of supplies so all their supplies are covered in actual shit.“

“The team was very welcoming when I inquired a out the menu yesterday after the parade and then again today. I was recognized and we had a great Mother's day dinner. There was a performance and they made my Chai Masala not sweet, just like I ask. the chicken in our curry was tender and the rice was beautiful.“
