Our favorite teriyaki place in the city. Owner always remembers my spouse and my name and keeps familiar with what’s going on. Been going for years now and will always be a repeat customer.
The food tastes great. I’m no food snob and easy to please. I enjoy all of their food so far. The only one thing I will complain about is their spice level. I’m big on spicy food. I ordered 5 star spice, but it did not have much of a kick. Even my wife, that can’t handle spicy, thought it was more sweet than spicy. The flavor was great, but it would have been greater if the heat was there! Overall, food was delicious.
Despite food being decent I will never give this place another dime. Owner acts inconvenienced by the business. Called to order food first thing he says is “How long will you be? How far away are you?” No greeting, no hello. Confused thinking he might be speaking to someone else I replied, “Pardon?” He comes back with “we close in 20 minutes I don’t want to wait around forever!” I told him not to worry about it and I would be sure not to bother him with my business...
