I’ve been eating teriyaki in the Seattle area for over 25 years and let me tell you, this is HANDS DOWN one of the best places I’ve ever been to.I ordered the spicy teriyaki chicken and it was a perfect blend of sweet, salty, spicy and amazing texture on the chicken. Their sauce is just next level.Their sauce is SO GOOD I even asked to purchase some. They sell their sauce—either teriyaki sauce or the spicy sauce. I got both! The business is owned by a married couple. The woman is incredibly nice. You can tell they absolutely pour their heart and soul into their business and even more important—their food.I cannot recommend this place enough. Whenever I’m passing my through Marysville this is a must stop for food. What else do I need to say? Want teriyaki? Looking for a new place to try something new? This is the place to check out.

I love the teriyaki here at Miyako's! I got the chicken & beef combo ?? and I want to apologize to you all in advance because I wasn't able to take a good picture. It was all gone before I knew it!

I walked in to Miyako's not expecting much. It just happened to be the closest teriyaki to me. I have an unusual preference for teriyaki. I like to get spicy chicken, no rice, all salad, and put the chicken on top of the salad and eat it like a chicken salad. There was a place in Olympia that offered a salad like that but also with the crunchy noodles and I loved it so much I recreate it as best I can. I spotted a chicken salad on the menu here at Miyako's and gave it a try. I asked for spicy chicken and she was a little surprised, I guess because they don't put a full order of chicken on the salad. She caught on to what I wanted and prepared a full order of spicy chicken on the side for me. I was surprised when I saw the salad. It had pears, cucumbers, olives, something I couldn't positively identify. I asked her what it was and she explained that it's a walnut stuffed date, and that they don't always have it but it's a Korean thing that after 4000 years, the Koreans know how to make food. What a delicious salad, and a nice touch to share her special preparations with her customers. I enjoyed my salad and the chicken was excellent too. I will return.

First time visiting, and the family was very pleased with all the dishes. Prices were on point. At peak times, you are probably better served ordering for take out, as the dining area is very limited.

The best general chao chicken I’ve ever had. The service is great and the prices are less expensive than others. They have literally ruined it for all others places.

The best chicken Katsu around! The food is always cooked fresh and to order so please know this is not fast food. This is quality teriyaki made to order and a wonderful husband wife team who run the restaurant everyday. It’s my family’s favorite restaurant when we want food that makes our tummy and hearts happy!Kid-friendliness: They always make my daughter feel at home and give her little snacks to make her smile. They even taught her how to use chopsticks
