The lumpia was overcooked and the pancit was average. Wasn't the best, but also wasn't the worst. The portion size was crazy for the price and the friendly service made the difference for me.

The food is always delicious and we probably eat there twice a week. The staff is always friendly and treat you like family.
Ordered a bunch of food for my mom's celebration of life. Everybody really enjoyed the food. I really want to say thanks to all of you and the employees. You really made a great experience for my mom celebration. Thank you!

They're batting 6 out of 10. Four being decent. It was good mostly when they changed owners, supposedly, but the last two times I got diniguan, it was hands down the worst of anywhere that I've had in 5 decades. Usually when diniguan's going bad they'll add a little vinegar. This place adds water and it can be easily seen on top of the diniguan. On top of that, I timed it two hours after they opened and this was" fresh." The last 2 times around was offensive. Never again. I sincerely hope that first timers don't think this establishment as representative of Pinoy cuisine. I felt like I got conned, even if only for a few bucks. This is not Pinoy cuisine, based on taste, appearance, and texture. It appears to be leftovers from people that didn't pay attention when grandma was giving lessons. It appears they put their own spin on it. This place gets a negative score vs. Conching's, Tita's, or Seafood City in National City, CA. Even the food in Mira Mesa is better than this.
we have been here last week ,the service was good , my fam and I ordered Igado and dinuguan the food is not as good as it is. There is no menu when ordered
What a gem! The food is excellent and the prices are low. Pork Adobo and rice only cost $6. There are two tiny tables so be prepared to get take out.
Guys i just finished eating my to go order at Sampaguita, I'm excited to share this review the food is So Good. i went to Outlet and got hungry so i google some Filipino food near by and I pick Sampaguita, really close by the Outlet mall. I Ordered Adobo, Caldereta, Dinuguan and pakbet All of it is Panlasang pinoy masarap talaga, and the Casava cake taste like special. try nyo guys. ???
The food is horrible, pork belly is dry, sinigang meat driest piece of pork to be found and the soup was just mostly water and salt, lumpias were overcooked. We could have gotten past the bad food in the customer service was good, but it was also horrible. Definitely not a representation of Filipino cuisine and culture.
the dinuguan was good, sinigang is made with knor pansigang mix the pork used is very dry. The lumpia is not good and overcooked. the place is too stuffy. They need to fix their ventilation as when you walk in, you can almost see a smoke-filled room, overwhelming with the stench of fried oil. Their staff needs to know how to smile and work on their customer service.

Food is mediocre at best. They were very rude to my Lola (told her to get out the way or hurry up since there were more “important” people prioritized behind the line) when she was still deciding what to order. She wasn’t being extremely slow either. Just unprofessional service. As mentioned, the food tasted okay.. Nothing special. I’d give it a zero if I could for customer service.
I’ve been here twice on take out pork and chicken adobo. Both times were plentiful and delicious.
Family owned authentic Filipino food, the lumpia’s could be better, chicken pansit is awesome, chicken/or pork adobo, fried pork are the many delicious food they cook fresh daily. Staff could be a little friendlier.
Hidden gem. A [family] friend introduced me to this place. It has since changed owners but still dishing out great food, no pun intended! There were 2 others picking up their orders and since I have been coming here as a regular the person in front of me got curious as to what I was getting and said it looked good! I offered but the person politely declined and said she’s sold to whatever it is I got and ordered it, as well! Lechon Kawali is a must here!
They need to upgrade their exhaust system, when you walk in, you can almost see a smoke filled room, overwhelming stench of fried oil, and the stench will stick to your clothing like gum on hair. No acknowledgment of customers, I walked in and they did not even welcomed me to their establishment. Poor customer service and terrible dining area. Why have a huge kitchen and 4 stool eating area and 2 small tables? Not an ideal place to order from, too over priced for the amount of food served. Tsk tsk tsk.
