Wow, first time eating at the New Village restaurant. Ate at the old one till it burnt down. We had the grilled meatloaf sandwich that was out of this world great. I'll be back!
The food is good! Not great but good and the prices are fair. We've only been there for breakfast. The only drawback would be cleanliness. The pendant lights are filthy. Covered in dust (dead skin cells) which I imagine fall down onto the food. The windows are also extremely dirty on the outside. The place could use a thorough cleaning! Other than that the bathrooms are very clean and nice and it's a good place for breakfast!!!
Food was awesome, lunch plate with half a sandwich, side and piece of pie was just right. We were a group of 9 people. Been coming to this place since the early 50s. They were on State St. back then. Always excellent.
