It's great in the summer, fall and spring.... But I personally find it best in the Winter when it's actually shut down except for the few skiers and snowboarders enjoying it throughout the day of riding... Some of the best sunsets in the world can be found right here in this little stone building! Got to experience a wedding at the summit of Mt Spokane. We were situated in the Vista House, and it was absolutely incredible. The building provides a beautiful place to rest after a nice hike, and of course the views are just insane. There is parking available near the summit for those with appropriate access, but strongly suggest parking down low and hiking up!
