Fun vibes and delicious food. We were impressed by the deeply savory flavor and silky texture of the pork and fish we ordered. Definitely a repeat for us!

At first, I was excited to try a new place, but after it took us 5 mins to get greeted at the door I was a little skeptical of the service when this place was listed as “gourmet cuisine”. Once we sat down it took 20 mins for a waiter to finally make their way over to us and take our orders. I ordered just some simple potstickers and ended up getting food poisoning less than 5 hours later. Service was absolutely unacceptable, never checked on us for more water or if we wanted any soy sauce etc. My friend got the wrong food after waiting for 20 mins as well. Horrible experience, NEVER coming back! Do not recommend!

The beef short ribs is amazing. Squid ink fried rice is also very good. Will come again for the forbidden duck and pumpkin donuts!

Peking duck was very good. Highly recommend it. We also got the steak fried rice which was great too.
It's a little pricey but the food is top shelf. The squid ink rice with baked cheese top, triple pepper shrimp, and steamed fish with ginger are all fantastic. The cocktails were OK, but certainly not bad. Service was a little slow but I don't fault them because they were extremely busy.

Xmas eve dinner and 1st time visit- very much appreciated that they accommodated us at 5 pm at the last min. We routinely went to Peony Kitchen for family bdays and was surprised to see similar menu items, not realizing that Danna Hwang had been at both! Oysters, soft shell crab, twice cooked pork, squid ink rice, duck, okra eggplant, giant short rib were all AMAZING!! The only “off” dish was the seafood crispy rice soup that we started with and made us all nervous as to the dishes to come. The broth essentially was water with no seasoning or salt. Not edible. Rest of meal was great and the peking duck was fabulous and much larger portions than at peony kitchen and beautiful presentation!

We got the lobster, okra and eggplant. Both dishes were great! One suggestion would be to use less oil for the okra and eggplant dish since there was a oil puddle :)
