“The apple pie y'all! The crust is perfect and insanely good. There is a sticky, crunchy, sweet cinnamon topping - chef's kiss - and it was packed with apple filling. So, so, so good. The bakery staff were very nice and happy to help us with our pie selection. Not to mention the actual shop is really cute. Run, don't walk, and get yourself some pie.“
“Can you bear another five star review? I've stopped by almost every Sunday morning for the last few years. Cup of coffee and a delicious pastry. I usually say, "Surprise me!" to Jason behind the counter. So far the apple "pie" is my favorite. But they're all great! The pastries and the people. See you Sunday morning!“
“Fresh, delicious treats! My favorite so far, is the almond croissant. Clean, chic atmosphere inside. Wish parking was a little better, but worth it when you taste the flavors. Friendly service. A little pricey but you do get a free small drip coffee with any purchase.“
“I bought a dozen, assorted cupcakes for my daughter's birthday and they were, each and every one, delicious! Perfect size. Perfect amount of frosting. Incredible flavors. The real 'icing on the cake' is the owner. She's an absolute gem and one of the sweetest and most friendly merchants I've ever come across!“
“A classic Donut Shop! Don't miss the chance to eat a great Donut. The Donuts they serve are fresh and delicious, plus there's a good variety. We have ordered from their website to be assured of getting the ones we want. Highly recommend the Apple Fritters and Persians.“
“Such a cute bakery and I love that they use better ingredients. Being able to eat a sweet treat and not feeling yucky afterwards is amazing! I highly recommend the cinnamon rolls (all flavors) but I can’t wait to try all their yummy treats.“
“Really, really enjoy this place. I wish they had more business! I always try to promote on local food pages when I come by to grab a cookie or cake pop. The cannolis are delish as well. My ONLY "complaint" is the buttercream frosting on cupcakes. I love buttercream but it is a tad too buttery for my liking; if the ratio was adjusted slightly, I'd be grabbing cupcakes all day every day haha! Regardless of my opinion, if you like buttery buttercream then this is the place for you! The people working are always kind as well, especially to my kiddos when I bring them. Thanks Breauxdoo Bakery!“
“If you're going there looking for a delicious loaf of freshly baked bread, you will not be disappointed....but you will not have gotten that bread. Instead you'll find yourself going there every morning for your short stay in Spokane getting a delicious array of 70s style salads and yerba mate on tap! 11 out of 10. Also I don't think they sell footwear (didn't ask however), but they have the best tofu scramble I've ever had. Come to think of it the seating isn't very loungey either. Try their pecan rolls!Vegetarian options: Everything“
“I live on the south hill for a little more then 2yrs and always went to the north side franz. My neighbor always went to the one in the valley. So I just looked that one up. NEVER knew there is one a couple of miles away. ?Sooooo till next time.......“
“Well, this is an amazing hidden gem in Spokane. A friend and I wanted Thai Food, so we googled the restaurant and found this restaurant. We did not realize that it was by reservation only, but the owner had some availability.I ordered the Red Curry dish that was AMAZING! They add slices of fresh pumpkin to it. When I say fresh, I mean that the cook (his wife) went into the garden and got a pumpkin! How cool was this!?They are only open for a short window, but all money is donated to help elephants. What is better than a restaurant with great food, family-owned, and they donate the proceeds?“
“Visiting Spokane and like coffee? Can’t miss this coffee shop. Loved their blend so much, that I ended up buying their beans.Their Pesto Cheese Baguette is soooo gooood! Ask for the toasted version, it’s really toasted - no microwaving or pressed sandwich substitute.Vegetarian options: They have a pesto cheese baguette which worked for vegetarians in our group.“
“Thanks for a job well done! I ordered a couple of the 24 bite-size ones for my daughter and her staff on her birthday. You out did yourself and even included a special bday surprise for the bday girl! Thank you for the extra touch! Everyone LOVED them!“
“Lovely place. Ellen and the entire crew are amazing. Pastries and hand pies, breads and Cyrus O'Leary pies. We love the bread store.Dietary restrictions: They have various breads including, not limited to, and not guaranteed to be there: keto bread, organic bread, gluten free bread etc“
“Brought my mom here on a whim after a hobby lobby excursion since she never treats herself to....treats haha. Wonderful and friendly service. The digital ordering tablets in the store make everything far less stressful for those that get anxiety when trying to decide what they want (I ordered one of everything, anyway ). The inside was very clean and minimalist. Focal point is clearly their giant cookies. Everything was delicious. I preferred the speculous overall because it didn't punch me with sweetness like the others. Pink velvet was a close second but I could only eat a sliver at a time. Disclaimer: I do not typically eat cookies and I have a savory, over sweet, tooth. My mom enjoyed sampling all the flavours and that's all that mattered. This would be an excellent office bribe or celebration treat to share with many others since there is no way either of us could eat even half of one cookie! Thanks for the sweets! Cheers“
“Best thing ever. Love the kawaii aesthetic, I liked every cupcake I tried, bestie got a birthday cupcake, everything was great. Only thing we didn't crack open was the cupcake ale or was it a wine? Either way, all around amazing and will recommend this to anyone who loves cake. Well worth the price and the drive.“
“This is the best coffee shop in town! I love supporting small local businesses especially when they go beyond your expectations! All their food is delicious and drinks are even better. I love getting to know all the baristas, and I love that they know my order when I pull up!“
“Why have I waited so long? The peanut butter cup pie is life changing!I actually bought it for my husband and now regret not buying two of them. It’s the best peanut butter pie I’ve ever had. Gone are the days of a birthday cake; I want this as my birthday pie from now on.“
“By far the best cakes anywhere in the US! The Tuxedo Cake and Chocolate Chocolate Chip have been family favorites of ours for more than 30 years. The only way we could love it any more is if they would ship their cakes! The service has always been fantastic and they have always graciously accommodated any special requests. The cakes are not cheap, but you get what you pay for and they are worth every penny!Parking: Parking is right out front of the entrance and the Handicap Parking is right to the left of the entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: Stepless entry“
“Great cake and great cookies. My favorites are the butter pecan cookies and huckleberry thumbprint cookies- great texture and flavor! Reasonably priced. My favorite of the sliced cakes are the chocolate cake with chocolate chip frosting, the tuxedo cake and the mini birthday cakes. Yum!! They have a wall with windows to see all the various sliced cakes in the refrigerator so you can choose. The cakes are moist and tasty and the frostings are smooth, creamy and great flavors. Hubby likes the red velvet best- try them all! Always make a point to visit and stock up when I'm in Spokane.“
“Very cool place! Several food and beverage places under one roof. I've had Peace Pie Pizza and the Black Label Brewing Company pilsner...loved them both. Boots Bakery and a coffee place are there, and I will be there soon for that. The crowd there is very friendly. Definitely a nice place to go with friends or by yourself.“
“We had Nothing Bundt Cakes delivered to our wedding for guests' dessert. Communciation in advance was easy, and the price for delivery was reasonable as well. They were on-time, everything exactly as ordered, and delicious! I would highly recommend them for your wedding/event.“
“Love it every time I come here. Nate is always here too (give him a day off jeeze) and he’s always so nice to help me and my girlfriend out and always remembers us. The atmosphere is always so welcoming and nothing but TOP tier service. Highly recommend the bacon potato quiche if they have it in as well always my go to.“
“It’s pricey but you get massive portions, and service is quite quick even though it was busy when we went. Our waiter, Ian, was very attentive and thoughtful. We brought our 20 month old and he was always checking in on us and making sure we had everything we need. They gage us an activity sheet with free crayons which we appreciated. When she dropped it, Ian picked it up and even asked us if she could have the floor crayon back before giving it to her. High attention to detail and high regard for the customers wants and needs. 10/10 would return.“
“Honestly one of the most welcoming and cozy coffee shops I have been too. I am not one to frequent a coffee shop, but due to the atmosphere, the always incredibly nice staff, and the great tasting coffee, I keep coming back. Couldn't recommend this place enough.“
“I've become a regular! I'm originally from Seattle, and "the shop" is my kinda place. Great coffee, good vibe, friendly staff & lots of gluten free options. I do wish they were open a little later, but that's the only thing I'd changeDietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“It's a bread store...when I buy a loaf of bread I take it home and put it in the fridge. It may be a few days before I get to eat it. Day old bread at less than half the price is awesome. Not to mention all the fresh products they stock. And the PIES.“
“This is an excellent neighborhood coffee house & doughnut shop. Classic coffee drinks and donuts alongside allergy friendly selections as well! The energy is low key, relaxed, and simple. The pastries are excellent and the coffee is good.“
“We got cupcakes and coffee here one morning and everything was so good my husband decided to buy my birthday cake from them. The atmosphere was so cute and cozy and paired perfectly with the sweets. The cake was beautiful and delicious. We chose the lemon strawberry flavor, and I would highly recommend it.“
“Oh my goodness! We were staying at the Davenport Hotel, and walked for 40 minutes each way to buy a loaf of their Turkey Red with Seeds -- remember the ad for Camel Cigarettes (I'd Walk a Mile for a Camel?) -- we walked 3 miles for a Turkey Red. Seriously, this is a stand-out bakery, not just for Spokane, but anywhere. WOW. We also purchased borekas for our flight home to Houston -- ate them when we got home. They were amazing as well. Can't say enough great things about this place!“
“This place has been my go-to coffee shop for a few years now. Even if it wasn't so conveniently close to my home and work, I would go out of my way to come here for the great coffee and even better service. If I have time I always go inside because I absolutely love the friendly atmosphere that the baristas here create. Any time I'm meeting s friend for coffee, this is always my first suggestion.“
“I was greeted with a rather jovial barista, who took my order and started working on my mocha right away. I tried a turn over and it was good. While waiting I was able to check out some local artists who are on display within the establishment. It's a very pleasant vibe inside, and overal a great experience.“
“The infamous Irish limericker and shamrock shaker, The Lady Ciara-Saoirse-Aisling-Roisin-Maeve-Siobhan-Sinead Conley has created the ultimate Celtic hot spot for a "deadman's party" and it's called Conley's Place. Located in Spokane Valley's splashy west-ish side, it finally answers the question, "Just how old IS Methuselah's cat, anyway?" This "Place" has EVERYTHING.... Irish Stew, Irish Coffee, Irish Country Omelettes, Irish Rasher Bacon and St. Louis Ribs... along with a creeping feeling of tiny men wearing green coats and hats eyeballing you from the dark, hidden spaces within the walls. Who's at the bar- is that Oscar Wilde? No, it's just the local Sheriff who pulled into the wrong parking lot again. The Host is a delightfully charismatic introvert who never smiles... ever. And if you have questions for her about items in the foyer, be prepared for a Donnybrook. Conley's Place is great comfort food with house made pies. I highly recommend the Scones (fry bread), but if you want them the password is: "Knackered"Kid-friendliness: There's a great kids menu. The dining area is cozy, so I would recommend well behaved children attend so as to avoid any unwanted shillelagh whacks....Wheelchair accessibility: Completely accessible.“
“This place was a solid 4.5 stars. Great sandwiches but not the best I've had based on how much protein was in the sandwich. Taste was yummy. It comes with a pickled. Prices for the sandwich was about $12. We wanted soup but right when we got there, they ran out. Service was very friendly and she helped answer our questions. They sell bread and day old for a discount. You can make the sandwiches a combo by adding package chips or their fresh bakery options. Place was clean and we were able to push 2 tables together to accommodate 5 adults and 2 children.“
“This is a good coffee shop with a neighborhood feel. The quality has slipped over the years, a casualty of growth I would guess. Most patkirons assume everything is made in house. It is not. They serve offerings from several local bakeries. Some good (the cinnamon rolls) some not so good (the quiche). The coffee is quite excellent. For now, we will remain patrons, so long as they keep dogs and other creatures outside.“
