“The lemon chicken was amazing. The leg of lamb melted in your mouth. The taquito appetizer was tasty and fun. The house bread puffs were light and yummy and served with an amazing tasty butter. Everything was beautifully presented. We brought our own special wine from Woodward Wineryand and had a reasonable corking fee. It was a short walk from the historic Davenport so that was nice. Kaila was a GREAT server and was extremely helpful as we had never been there before. I highly recommend it! We will be back.“

“Came here later on a Thursday and was seated immediately. Tons more room inside than I thought. More adults than kiddos but definitely both family- and couple-friendly. Had a nice view of the pizza prep area and really enjoyed watching them make one of the best pizzas I've had in years! Crust was chewy but not too thick. Tasted the excellent cheese & sauce right away. Nice basil graced the top. Impeccable service (great timing, super friendly). Can't wait to visit Spokane again so I can go back to Wooden City... though I learned that there are two more in western WA...woo hoo!!!“

“GEM on the South Hill. Luna bar is the best spot to meet a friend or date night. Last week my husband and I met another couple and sat at the bar. Yummy food and great wine choices too. I love their salads and always add salmon. The pizzas are my husbands fav. Last night I met friends and sat at the best bar booth in town. We love the energy and service. Love the new menu items too.“

“The food was amazing, the service was supremely friendly, and I happened to be able to talk to the owner, and I loved how passionate he was about the history of the train car and how much he's done with the place. If you ever get a chance to go definitely walk around, it's worth looking at.“

“Spokane’s Hillyard historic business district has a food-legend rooted in Texas bbq, cultured ancient grains, craft beer, and quality coffee. Side dishes like slaw are refreshing and complement the smoked meats. The smoked-turkey will surprise and delight your taste buds. “So, we heard of this place as a recommendation from another coach of ours. It’s a super cute place with a great ambiance. I’m a fan of the inside, with the paintings (vibrant colors) from only one artist. That was pretty cool. The service again was fantastic and outstanding. I mean you really couldn’t do much better than this. It’s a super nice and friendly place. The food, that’s the big thing we are looking at hear. Being someone who lives in Texas, take this with a grain of salt.We had the chicken artichoke and tomatoes basil soups. Personally, probably the best soups they have. We tried the jalapeno popper and it was very spicy. The beer cheese soup tasted ungodly for us. However, not our thing. The beer bread was really odd too, but we don’t eat that typically. Overall, we tried a lot and it was a lot of fun. Love the atmosphere indeed.I would go back for soup again. I do love a good soup.“

“Wiley’s is a gem. The atmosphere is low-key. The food is high end. Our service was attentive and amazingly friendly. For the menu, the dishes offered are priced well. Overall I thought ours was an amazing experience and I’m surprised Wiley’s wasn’t on my radar sooner since I am from Spokane. Guarantee I’ll be back again and again.“

“As soon as I walked in, the smell took me back in time. Brought back memories of Sunday breakfast at grandma's house. It was the 17th of March so I had corned beef hash. So delightful the staff so cheerful and kitchen crew friendly. Highly recommend it. When your in Spokane stop in for breakfast or lunch.“

“Our brunch got off to a bit of a slow start. We had reservations, got seated quickly but waited about 15 minutes before the server came over to out table to get our drink ordersOur meals arrived in just 35 minutes, which was great! While we were there, I didn’t notice any kids or teenagers around. I asked our server if they had a kid’s menu, and she said they didn’t. However, she suggested that the pancakes or cinnamon buns would be a great option for them, as they were thick and shareable - and they definitely are shareableHoneydew bellini. Sparkly bubble, not too sweet. I would say a mixture of sweet and tart. Loved watching the sorbet melt into the drink. The Butterscotch latte was not too heavy on the butterscotch, so it was not sweet. First time trying warm oatmilk. Overall, it wasn’t bad.Fried chicken and biscuitImagine biting into a juicy piece of fried chicken with a perfectly cooked egg on top and a flaky biscuit on the side. Delish! The chicken is not dry and wasn’t microwaved. And the biscuit...oh, the biscuit! It’s so flaky, my husband couldn’t resist stealing it. The coleslaw had a delicious sesame taste that complemented the meal perfectly. This meal is the definition of comfort food.Tallstack is the reason I came here temptation at its finest. It didn’t disappoint whatsoever the fluffiest pancakes I’ve eaten. Mike said it was too sweet for him. But he did like the pancakes by themselves. More for me, lolSteak and eggsRibeye, cook the way you like. Mike said he could tell the steak was not frozen, fresh meat. There’s a difference in quality.Overall, I was very impressed with the atmosphere, the vibe and vegan-friendly items on the menu. My only regret not trying this place sooner. We will be making reservations to try dinner.Inland Pacific Kitchen? 304 W Pacific Ave Ste 160Spokane, WA 99201United States“

“Chicken N Mo's unassuming exterior hides a true Spokane treasure. This family run business is always exceptionally clean with friendly staff and great food.Everything they make (chicken, ribs, brisket, catfish... and more) is delicious, and their plethora of sides are just as good (there is true magic in every bowl of beans and rice!).I've had most everything on the menu, but my personal favorite is the 2 piece chicken (dark meat) dinner with a side of beans & rice and a side of greens with a tablespoon of the vinegar from the jalapeno jar on top. Delicious!!!“

“We had an Uber Eats order that was missing one entree but we were given an item that wasn’t ours. After calling the restaurant, they offered to make the missing item and drove it to our home and comped it. As well as added a piece of cheesecake for the inconvenience. Not only do they offer a well planned menu, their food is consistently good and their service is impeccable. Also a joy to support local businesses! Summit Kitchen for the win!“

“Ever I started coming to this I've felt like I'm becoming more and more like myself. I just can't wait until I can get my check back from the Spokane community college and then pay my debts. Then maybe move forward in my life and the city I live in with all these other people that are living in the same city. I like this business because it's local and I support the people that I choose to let be in my circle. I see real love here, a family of people that can just be themselves and listen to the same music and act like a goof or not act like a goof. People will let people be themselves up until I think of themselves are gonna hurt themselves or someone else's. I do honestly feel like maybe I'm slowly becoming more and more like family around here in Spokane. Where as before I was being quite so open and able to trust others. I don't choose the future or a future but in a way I kinda can choose my own future. I'm not trippin. But I am trying to keep putting 2 & 2 together, hopefully you and I would get four. I think if it makes sense and we can reuse it and it helps us out on some sort of and we should totally do that especially if it helps make money then we should totally you continue to repetitive do this thing that houses that makes sense.Kid-friendliness: I'll tell you what last night I thought it was Halloween night and I like everybody at this bar was like having a good time with dancing and I was like imma go for a walk meet up with this chick. Well I'm at the chicken for and she's a friend of mine and I came back to the bar and I was like damn that's what's up. Either way I figured out it wasn't but if that gives you any idea about the kid–friendliness and that everybody was dancing last night and having a good time and I thought it was Halloween but it really was not Halloween night... Right???“

“This was the best meal of my life. I'm a bit of a foodie so this is not an understatement. My family and I had the pork loin with squash puree and the grilled chicken in gorgonzola sauce, aranccini, butter lettuce salad, and the vegan corn cream of the day. It was unbelievable, perfectly balanced flavors, and very generous portions. Emily was our server tonight and she is a delight! Thank you for making such a wonderful experience for us. Will return every time I'm in town!Vegetarian options: Menu is very accommodating for vegan and vegetarian restrictions“

“Finally stopped in for lunch and ordered the Banh Mi and tomato soup. Having spent the first 45 years of my life in the south SF Bay Area, home to a huge Vietnamese population and the greatest array of Vietnamese restaurants imaginable, I know good Banh Mi! This was a GREAT Banh Mi sandwich! I will likely request a little heavier on the jalapeno next time, my personal preference, but overall it was simply delicious with much more meat than you would normally ever get on a traditional Banh Mi! My companion got the egg salad sandwich and said it was delicious. Another friend, a vegetarian, also ordered a Banh Mi, but with tofu, and he loved it, too! The service was excellent and the atmosphere very relaxed. Used the restroom, my test for restaurant cleanliness (if the restroom is filthy I am out of there!), and it was perfect. Just happened to be in the area at lunchtime and so glad I dropped in!“

“Zola is a fun place to go. Certainly don't go for the food or the cocktails. Go to have a fun time. At happy hour prices, the drinks and food are an ok deal, but really I would recommend going elsewhere for a dinner, and then going to Zolas for the music, dancing, and party Service was good, and so no need to go to the bar. Just sit down at a table, and a friendly server will be by.“

“We were not able to make reservations until 1 hour before arriving. I am impressed with their service. Their food is outstanding!! I love the Manito Tap House burger. “Came in for a few beers, a game of pool and some dinner. The place was semi packed, but our bartender was great with service. The draft beer selection was not very good, and left a lot to be desired. Because if this, I went with the special and got a corona, and immediately remembered how much I don't care for it. We tried to play pool, but the cue sticks had absolutely no tips left on them. We asked if they had any spares, and they didn't. Was really excited to have this be a place to play, but definitely won't be back for the lack of detail to the bar games. The pickle fries were amazing, the chicken sandwich was too heavy on the breading, but the brioche bun was a great addition. The sweet potato tots were a hit, while the garlic fries were kind of a miss. Overall, there are better places in town, feel this is more of a nostalgic spot.“

“THE BEST restaurant on the South Hill!!And our favorite in Spokane. You can tell everything they make is good, whole food, healthy quality, flavorful and delicious. People might be disappointed that they don’t have fries as one of their sides, but I particularly love that they don’t dunk their food in fryers and everything’s is pan friend and/ or home made, healthier, and fresh while still being incredibly flavorful. Also, if there is any wait time, it’s because they are making your food fresh and good food takes time. All of their sauces/dressings are home made and the portions are always generous. We love the neighborhood home vibe and I’ve never had a bad meal here. 10 out of 10 if I could.“

“Unfortunately, with their hours stated as closing at 10 pm, arriving at 8:50 I was presented with the info that the last call for food was at 9pm. We ordered just before 9pm and had a drink, and the server came up and announced last call for drinks was at 925.... We felt like we were being rushed out, with him turning off the restaurant music before we had finished dinner. I could tell we were not wanted, so next time I will just choose somewhere else.Just so you know, when looks at restaurants in the area, most places close at 9, with this establishment closing at 10. I would expect you to get some business after 9. If you don't want that business, just close at 9 like everyone else.“

“Chill atmosphere with a great dj that kick off songs that are both relaxing and get you to get up and boogie. Bartenders and bouncers are both chill and badass peeps that keep the place legitimate. Pool tables could use some new bumpers and felt and could use some new bar sticks as most aren't straight, but thats bar sticks for ya. But all in all, 10/5 stars from galaxies unknown. “I don't know what happened to this place but judging by how much money they've spent on their sign and the layout etc. This must have been one of the sweetheart restaurants of Spokane at some point.I don't know if there's been a change of management or what but just things that are falling apart like wallpaper, leaky faucets and the bathroom. Messed up bathroom stalls etc. it is not a complete dive or anything and the food is pretty dang good.I like it here. It's just sad to see a once thriving prosperous business start to go down the wrong path for mismanagement.“

“Man, what can I say? I loved the place. I've been driving a long time but I don't normally head this far East into Washington. Normally stay around Tacoma and Seattle. This place was such a pleasant surprise. The Shepherds Pie was amazing. I had it with a loaded baked potato and sliced tomatoes. Some may say that's a lot of potato but it was filling and super tasty. As for the atmosphere, it felt like a call back to those older trucker shows and movies. I felt right at home. “Great place to go if you are white. My husband and I were completely igorned by our waitress. Well, at first she said that she would be right with us. She never looked at us again until 10 minutes later a different waitress came to get out drink order. Our waitress eventually appeared and took our order. She delivered our food with an order of wings missing. She said that they would be right out and then the table next to us suddenly had wings but ours never came. Finally I caught the attention of a different waitress and asked for our check but that we never recieved our wings. The cook eventually brought the them to us in a to go bag. The other staff picked up the slack for our clearly racist waitress. I am a generous tipper but this is the first time for as long as I can remember that I left a less than generous tip. I honestly do not believe that this was a simple oversight in our waitress’s part. She attended to everyone around us.“

“The infamous Irish limericker and shamrock shaker, The Lady Ciara-Saoirse-Aisling-Roisin-Maeve-Siobhan-Sinead Conley has created the ultimate Celtic hot spot for a "deadman's party" and it's called Conley's Place. Located in Spokane Valley's splashy west-ish side, it finally answers the question, "Just how old IS Methuselah's cat, anyway?" This "Place" has EVERYTHING.... Irish Stew, Irish Coffee, Irish Country Omelettes, Irish Rasher Bacon and St. Louis Ribs... along with a creeping feeling of tiny men wearing green coats and hats eyeballing you from the dark, hidden spaces within the walls. Who's at the bar- is that Oscar Wilde? No, it's just the local Sheriff who pulled into the wrong parking lot again. The Host is a delightfully charismatic introvert who never smiles... ever. And if you have questions for her about items in the foyer, be prepared for a Donnybrook. Conley's Place is great comfort food with house made pies. I highly recommend the Scones (fry bread), but if you want them the password is: "Knackered"Kid-friendliness: There's a great kids menu. The dining area is cozy, so I would recommend well behaved children attend so as to avoid any unwanted shillelagh whacks....Wheelchair accessibility: Completely accessible.“
