My sis brought me to this nostalgic little joint on our way back from a weekend at Long Beach. The staff was super friendly (shot out to Cayden with tur pink hair) and the food was pretty good for a roadside burger place. The burger was juicy without being greasy. The onion rings were piping hot and had a tasty batter. The tartar sauce I ordered was dill forward and not too sweet, just the way I like it. Shakes are so good but the last 2 times the deep fried mushrooms 1 visit in February and this last visit in September with the chicken nuggets tasted off. I think the grease was old. Things tasted bitter. I'll go back for sure but stick to the delicious hamburgers
We have not be there once for an over a year. Did decide to try again. It is absolutely so much so much improved and so delicious! They have improved any the garden and beef burgers. Great buns and lots of relish! And a lot of fires. Great milkshake. So good! And great employees!!!
