This was a nice dining experience. I'm always suspect of hotel restaurants, but these folks clearly know what they're doing and who they are. A nice, quasi-upscale, yet laid back ambiance right on the lake, offering traditional Americano fare. Staff were all nattily dressed in sleek, black uniforms, and were friendly and efficient. Our waitress was very patient with my waffling, undecided, dawdling-to-order Wifey--who insists on never peeking at a menu online prior to arrival....read full review
I was in a group meeting. asked the waitress what was gluten free.. she said basmati rice. Is that all? Then she said the rye bread was gluten free and I said no it isn't gluten free. (Rye contains gluten let alone the other bread ingredients.)So she was clueless. So i asked her if anything else could be made gluten free and she said check the menu and you tell me. Now the meeting room was fine, the atmosphere was fine and I know how hard it is to navigate a restaurant menu....read full review
