My two sets of grandparents, my parents, younger brother, boyfriend, and myself had a wonderful night last Sunday (4/14). Tony took excellent care of us, even taking a couple photos for us on the stairs to celebrate my grandparents' visit, and made sure our food was perfect, our drinks were full, and that we had everything we needed! Thank you so much for a wonderful end to their visit :)

We’ve been looking for Italian restaurant on our day trip to Mt. Vernon town. We like the food and the staff are all friendly and nice. Tomato soup for starter is so delicious, biscotti was crunchy and buttery. This has been a very special find in this place.

We've been multiple times and the service (Tony in particular!) is wonderful, food is good and atmosphere is one of those few places where you would not feel out of place dressed up or fairly casual.

What a pleasant experience this place is . The food is a delicious authentic menu. The meatballs were full of flavor and meat. Their tomato soup appetizer melted my taste buds. Pasta just right…We came through as tourists for the Tulip Featival and were blown away by this grand dining experience.Breanna was an excellent guide and server of our great memory here.And they serve spumoni ice cream here.Kid-friendliness: My one year old loved slurping up the different noodles and flavors

Okay…I should start this review off by saying I’m a food snob. I love fresh, local food. I’m a real farm-to-table kind of gal. My daughter wanted Italian for her birthday dinner so we gave Il Granaio a try. The service was great and our waiter was awesome. The place itself was huge, weirdly laid out, and confusing. The food was not great. It just wasn’t. Portions were enormous, if that excites you. Wine selection was decent. Daughter liked the tiramisu.

One of the few authentic Italian restaurants to offer creamy spaghetti carbonara. It was fantastic. Tony, my server, is a consummate pro. Very personable, offered wine paring, and made certain my dining experience was top tier. I will return many times.

The food was excellent. They give seasoned bread as a starter, then their version of bruschetta. Before we got our main course we got a generous side salad, mine was caesar, and hers was a garden salad with basalmic dressing. Then I got the Gamberetti ala Funghi (shrimp, linguine pasta, mushrooms, and a cream sauce), my friend got Pollo Picata (split chicken breast, with a light sauce, thin spaghetti noodles, and capers), then our dinners came with dessert. Berry cheesecake amd Pana cotta... while a bit expensive the value for so much is amazing.Parking: In front of the restaurant there are only around 12 spots but there's a gravel parking area behind the building.
