I was expecting better from the advertising. Maybe we caught you on an off night but my filet mignon was over cooked and on the dry side. Same with my wife’s prime rib. My garlic mashed potatoes were cold and as if they were scooped out of a container. And the portions were a bit skimpy for the money. Cocktails were good. Sadly, I would not return. For this kind of money I would choose the Belleweather in Bellingham.
This steak house used to serve really great food but not anymore. My husband and I received prime rib and New York steaks that were both tepid despite the fact that most tables were empty right after opening, meaning the place wasn't busy. The mashed potatoes had a synthetic smoke flavor and the asparagus was not just tender-crisp, it was crunchy.

We also got the chili lime shrimp appetizer and when I tell you this was the smallest appetizer I've ever seen.. I almost thought it was a joke, but the menu does, in fact, say it comes with FIVE 'prawns'. They were regular size shrimp that you eat in a single bite, not the larger prawns...
