Nice place for a coffee

Lovely ambience but for a toasted bagel & pour over with 15 % tip came to 19 dollars, too expensive, even if coffee & bagel were nice.

I've actually only been here a few times for espresso drinks. I can be a coffee snob, I'm picky. Not only do they brew up a good espresso beverage, they're consistent, that's huge. It's become a part of my regular routine when I am in town. Though I haven't tried, their food does look quite appetizing. The have baked goods from a GF bakery, so I always have the option to pick up a treat. Cool young hip crew working there, they're friendly and polite. I do love the comfy casual atmosphere they provide.

Amazing food and service. Don’t sleep on the PNW Mocha, it was delicious. We also got the strawberry lemonade scone (holy crap good) and the egg and pesto sandwich. Nicer vibe than some more of the busy cafes during the tulip season. Will be coming back for sure.

They don't have prices listed and you find out a tea is $7 before tip! Definitely overpriced.

Excellent coffee, very good sandwiches, always great service, very comfortable seating. I only go to Mount Vernon a few times per year, but I make it a point to go to Ristretto whenever I'm there.

Great place. Coffee was good (they use victrola coffee) but i didn’t try any of the food. Atmosphere is very nice, with art on the walls, a huge skylight, a couch, and cool alcove seating by the front windows. definitely worth a trip.

We visit Mount Vernon often and this is definitely our favorite coffee shop. The coffee is awesome and the staff are always friendly. However, we’ve stopped by 2-3 times right when they open on Saturdays and the shop is closed with no sign of any employees inside. As much as we love the coffee, it’s a bummer when we’ve stopped by early in the morning.

The chai was definitely better than average and the art was cool. The biscotto wasn't bad.
All it's missing is a croissant hookup.
