The ideal location is the least of this establishment's attributes! The food menu has the pub fare you expect; they don't overreach here, and the quality seems better for it. The on-site brewery is cool, and the beer list is both creative and inventive--not to mention delicious! While being partial to an outdoor patio (especially one that welcomes dogs!), we found the interior to be airy and charming, with plenty of exposed brick, natural lighting, and what must be the original wood plank flooring. The Skagit River Brewery has earned a repeat customer and a guaranteed stop when entertaining out of town friends!

Except for the "new ownership" sign out front I wouldn't have been able to tell if anything has changed here since the new owner took over. The beer is still good and we like a few of the appetizers still. My only complaint is the wasted TV above the bar that isn't used like it's supposed to be. Give your customers at the bar something to view!

The last time I was at Skagit Brewery was years ago. The important things have not changed. Great food and beer with friendly service. My friend and I had nachos with smoked brisket added. It was delicious.Very nice atmosphere, not to noisy.Of course the beer is awesome.

Great place! Wanted to try it out since it has a new owner. Wasn't disappointed. Food was delish. Beer was excellent. And the owner was there, delivering drinks to our table and chatting with us. Will definitely go back!

Came in for a quick lunch warm me up on this cold Sunday up north in between scouting for hard to get farm supplies in my own neck of the woods- Arlington. Every place I go, I order the artichoke dip- if they have it. The Jalepeno Artickoke Dip was 100% the best version in all 8 years of my resteraunt hopping in Washington! The Skullers IPA is an amazing pair to the starter. Next up, the Brisket Dip smothered in carmelized onions, mushrooms and an savory horseradish aoli! I was tipped off that the Brisket was just smoked yesterday! You just have to swing through town(super easy, right off the I5) and get over here! I've only met the "tip of the iceberg" of the menu and I will be back with all my peeps too! Make.sure you ask for Ben- he is a fantastic accompaniment to my experience!Parking: Parking is in the back of the building and a quick walk along the side to get to the amazing entrance!

Such a cool chill place! I really enjoyed the vibes of this place, as someone who gets overstimulated easily, I was pleasantly surprised to feel very at ease and relaxed on a Friday night here! The food was great! Got the loaded brisket nachos and it was delicious. Definitely coming back and bringing more friends!

My mother and I were at skagit brewery last night and received the worst service I have ever had. We ended up leaving after an hour in a half, and three your orders will be ready in ten minutes. Our orders were never given to the kitchen and after much apologies from our server she never did get them in for us. Waiting an hour and a half being told your food will be ready in 10 minutes and then never getting your food is ridiculous!!!!!!!!

A brewery experience like none other. Great local crafted beer on tap of just about every variety. Fantastic choice of food from BBQ to sandwiches and salads. Large portions at a fair price. While your there you might get to experience the Burlington Northern train go by on tracks about 20 feet away outside the building. The shaking and noise will thrill any train enthusiast. Charming old brick building in old Town Mt Vernon. Well worth a visit.

Update: Big upgrade with new owners! Great service, the beer offerings are excellent and the simplified menu offers thoughtfully chosen, well prepared comfort food.Old review (2 stars): Can't recommend the fish and chips. While the batter was crisp and tasty, the cod was getting tired and smelled fishy. Fries were lukewarm.Several service gaffs including having to ask for napkin and silverware. They were out of their own beer.
