Out for an anniversary dinner and Porterhouse checked all the boxes. Wife got a couple of appetizers (cheese curds and calimari) and I had the beef stroganoff. The curds and calamari were perfectly done. The stroganoff sauce was exquisite with thin shaved sirloin and mushrooms over a nice bed of pasta. The place was pretty quiet on a mid week night so easy conversation was possible.
Porterhouse has great pub fare which is at a higher level than any other pub in town. I had their pulled pork sliders as well as their veg tacos. Very tasty. Good service. Wish you could bring in under 21, limits the amount of times I come eat there. Recommend for sure, especially for food and good selection of beers.
We went after a concert at the Lincoln theater. The staff was amazing attentive, the draft selection was great with a large variety, and the food was delicious. That being said we felt the portion sizes other then the salad were a little on the small size for the price. We had the Carne Asada Fries and the Crispy Spicy Chicken Sandwich. We will definitely be going back to try some of the other menu items.
