Fish & Chips (sweet potato fries) were excellent, as was the chowder! The service was very good. Was a little disappointed and surprised to see a "To Go" charge for a dessert. ? Had "To Go" boxes for our dinners and wasn't charged. Would be curious if dessert is ordered to the table but then put in a box, ? would there be a charge? Am starting to see more restaurants putting these kinds of "hidden" charges on customers' receipts. Hope this doesn't cause a decline in customers, as I have seen with other restaurants.

We met friends up here for Fish Friday. Hadn't been here since the management change. Super friendly service and the Fish & Chips did not disappoint! Decent Bar & Beer selection. Make the short trip up the hill - great experience in the Saloon.

It is a musty space. Service is friendly and fairly quick, but a request for a second serving of tartar sauce was forgotten. The fish and chips were certainly adequate, but the claim that they are world famous may be a slight overstatement. The house special cocktails are to be avoided.

The food and drinks were really good! My husband and I split the pretzel appetizer (yummy!), he had a Tennessee cider, clam chowder, and fried fish with loaded mashed potatoes. I had the Vanamberg, a BLT with a side salad. It was all really tasty. My husband was especially impressed with their clam chowder and fish. Prices weren’t bad either. Definitely recommend!

The decor was very dated, atmosphere reminds me of my grandmother's assisted living dining room. Note: we dined in the restaurant side, not the more modern sports bar next door. The food comes from the same kitchen FYI.The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good, not fancy looking but delicious!

I and a couple friends stopped off here for a bite to eat and a couple drinks. The food was far from top rate. I will never go back. We sat for 2 hours in the court yard and had 2 drinks ea with our dinner. We talked and laughed amongst just ourselves unti....After a dinner and 2 drinks (mind you 2 drinks was all we had to drink ) we were cut off when asking for a 3rd. Stone cold sober I asked the front desk clerk why (absolutely bewildered, can't believe we were cut off at 2 drinks) we were cut off. She went to ask the bar tender and he didn't even have the balls to come out and tell us. He sent out another person who proceeded to tell us thay he had no explanation for us but once the call is made it can't be reversed. What a joke!! I am not even a daily drinker little lone a heavy drinker and 2 drinks later Iwe are told NO by the bar tender, who by the way hadn't even seen us or served us once that night. I will never waste my money there again. My first, one and inky visit to Gold Creek was 1 too many. If you want to share a conversation and enjoy yourselves over drinks and good food, this is NOT the place to go

Fantastic fish and Chips! The weather was warm but not too hot, and the waterfall just made it special. Beautiful area with really nice people and great food. Well worth the trip to get there.
