We walked in. They had the fireplace going. There was the sweetest waitress her name was Stevie The food was excellent. The waitress went above and beyond treated us with such gentleness and respect was so attentive. I can’t thank them enough Well worth it. The drive up Chinook Pass is amazing. thank you, Stevie for giving us such a wonderful memory.

The perfect getaway. It’s a drive for me but well worth it. The food at the restaurant is outstanding. The scenery, crown and staff are on point. I actually like the fact there’s no TVs in the rooms,(a complaint my xGF had). Who needs a TV?! I’d recommend.

We stayed over in one of the newly renovated hotel rooms, and it did not disappoint. The room was inviting and cozy. The artwork has a nice woodsy touch. The bedding and beds were also very comfy. My kids and I came in and had breakfast in the riverside dining. The view of the river was such a nice and relaxing way to start our day. Our server Erica was so attentive and treated my kiddos like kings. Her hot cocoa was so nummy and beautifully made. ? The new updates have really made it worth taking the drive up 410!

Drove up with trailer knowing that white pass was closed. There where not alot of people and weather was good. Grounds were kept nice and clean. Snow was removed for easy walking on grounds. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Now for the food review-Absolutely awsome food and reasonably priced. There is someone in the kitchen who knows what there doing. Even there rabbit food-salads are to die for. I had the shrimp avocado salad with a honey mustard. I'm not a huge salad guy but that was good. Keep it up folks because we're coming back. From Ridgefield Wa.Safety: They keep the snow clear and plowed.Walkability: Easy grounds to walk with plenty of paths.

Update: I've adjusted my review to reflect the owner's response. I do understand being up in the mountains makes it difficult to keep well trained sophisticated staff. I've eaten here many times and can confidently say this place is worthy of 5 stars.Original review: I haven't stayed here but have dined here quite a bit. The food is great, however, the last time we dined here for breakfast my husband called ahead to make sure we could get a river view table, and he was told that they aren't taking reservations and to just come in. Sadly, when we got there the restaurant was closed. We had to eat in the bar, with no mood music or view. Total waste of 2 hours of driving just to hear every conversation happening at other tables due to lack of white ambient music. The food was great, as was service, however, had the front desk clerk been upfront with the restaurant being closed due to repairs we would have saved 2 hours and eaten just as good with great service down the street from where we live. The only reason we come here is for the view. Great place, otherwise, which is why I'm leaving 5 stars. Just make sure to ask plenty of questions before visiting because the younger newer staff may accidentally omit certain details that might be of great importance to you. Owner has made great improvements to the place.Food & drinks: Food is great, prices are on point, service is good. Music is needed for a more calming atmosphere and to not hear other tables conversations, the clanging on the kitchen, etc.

I would NOT recommend this place! It is over priced and their cabins are dirty and terrible customer service! We drove over 25 hours from out of state to Visit family for the holidays and was arriving in the early morning hours, my family went their in person to confirm we could Check in early and was told by their staff member this was totally fine she stated she left notes on my account (never did apparently). I called a few days before our trip and they had told me they had no record of this information only that we were checking in on a totally Different day than what they were told.. Unfortunately none of the staff or new owners care about customer service and all they want is your money. Being in this industry and a manager myself for over 10 years if your team or staff member said something to a customer then you honor it and do what’s best for the customer unfortunately if you loose money because of your staff it’s a lesson learned and you don’t blame the customer as they did. They discounted our rate which was appreciated, but did not honor what we were originally told by their staff. When arriving to the cabin it was dirty smelled like dog pee the rugs were covered in dog pee, fireplace was super loud screeching, heater wouldStop working in the middle of The night, hair all over the bathroom floor, and the oven was dirty. I went to management the next day to bring the cleaning concerns toTheir attention, and they did bring us new rugs and offered to re clean the room. I denied the re clean since we had our dogs and unloaded everything already and I had already cleaned it myself. The manager Shane told me he walked the unit and didn’t notice a smell and or anything that was dirty, clearly this was not checked prior to a customer checking in. I requested a document in writing to confirm I would not be charged for any of the already pet damage, and was told I could get this. I went in next day and spoke toBrittany the house keeping manager told her about my concerns and she rolled her eyes at me when I told her the cabin was dirty. She also stated there was not a letter for me and told me it was just noted in my account. By this time I was fed up with everything and done arguing with management who doesn’t put their customer first. This is a great location but not worth the money I would stay somewhere elseIf you have the option to!Update to post- Also, since they are saying all of my information is a lie photos show that the room clearly was not cleaned prior to staying can’t really lie about this. Yes my family was mad because we were told one thing and then they denied everything we were told less then 24 hours before we got there saying that my original reservation was scheduled for Friday when actually I have email confirmation it was for Thursday, in addition we walked into a dirty room so yes we had every right to be mad for paying $389 a night, then charging additional fees after we left for $25 for a room that was cleaner then when we got there.. They have several managers and or people that state they are managers and are not . I’m only stating truthful information for others to know. I do not normally leave reviews but this is absurd, to me the way they acted with customer service in addition to running a business. Yes discounting the rate was appreciated as I stated before but one for the “high pricing” they should walk the room prior to someone staying, also per the manager there were 3 empty cabins that were not even rented in addition to vacant rooms.
