This place is absolute fire. We went in tonight and got take out. Asada fries, pollo Crema, burrito, both salsas and both desserts. We live 15-20 minutes away and our food was still hot when we got home. Everything tasted so fresh. The asada fries and flan were my favorite but everything was great. None of the meat was dry and it was so flavorful. I haven’t had Mexican food this good in a while. The seating jn the restaurant are in need of some TLC but we weren’t eating there anyways and the place overall seemed clean and they have an excellent rating for food safety which is always a plus in my book.

So got timed out in North Bend driving truck and tried this New Mexican grill here. Very nice young man starting out his business. Love to support are youth that work hard. Very good food and price. If you’re traveling through North Bend, it’s across the street from the TA truckstop before you get ready to climb the pass. Great job young man!

Went in for food after hitting the slopes at Snoqualmie. The food here was delicious! Great atmosphere too - the owner chatted us up and was so nice. Definitely coming back.

Yuck! $16 for the taco plate of 3 tiny street tacos, lukewarm beans and hard cold rice. The Mexican food is nowhere near the quality it was when the location/prior owners were known as Hammer Lane. Asada was tough and chewy (poor quality meat and clearly reheated), red sauce lacked heat and rice and beans had absolutely no flavor. I used to come in here monthly for the huge wet burrito but it's been removed from the menu with new ownership. Hammer Lane had the best unbelievably spicy rojo sauce! There was not a soul in the place at 6:30 pm despite trucks everywhere at the adjacent truck stop. Very limited menu. So disappointed! Not good quality Mexican food whatsoever. Back to the taco trucks in Issaquah!
