We had a very nice meal at Yama Si! We ordered chicken yakisoba and the combo plate of spicy chicken and beef teriyaki, both were delicious and we honestly could have shared either plate, but who doesn't love leftovers! We would stop again anytime we were in North Bend!
I came here for lunch with my vegetarian family, we got the tofu yakisoba, tofu teriyaki, and veggie miso ramen, with cucumber salad and edamame. All of it was AMAZING! The teriyaki sauce is homemade and the best one i have ever tried. Considering it’s a smaller restauraunt the vegetarian options were SO good. I have friends that came here and got the chicken and beef teriyaki, as well as some sushi, and raved about it as well. The lady at the front (owner!) was so sweet...
Picked this place out of the blue while on the road, and it satisfied. Started with a nice little cucumber salad, and then we both had ramen: one classic tonkatsu, the other tonkatsu with chicken katsu. Both delicious.
The Thai tea (not too sweet) and hot genmaicha tea (earthy and comforting) paired well.
If we ever want Japanese food around here again, this is our place.
