We go to a fast food joint about 3 or 4 times a year. It's probably 2 years since it was Jack's. The hamburger/sandwich never looks like the one in the TV ad, but this place was close. Very busy at the window so I think the 2 or 3 inside customers were secondary. Still a reasonable wait. Very pleasant staff doing their best. And we were happy with our meals.
Until 3 years ago JIB was my go to fast food. Now rarely. Tried the smash burger. Tasted fine but sooo overpriced. Now got a offer to try cluck sandwich. Dies not look like picture at all. Diameter if chicken barely gets to edge of bun. Too thick in middle making a very dry bite. Not batter dipped and fried. Just breadcrumb covering like a fish stick. Minimal sauce and all extra sauce is 25 to 50 cents more. Had to order from app and drove to p.u. (only 1.5 mi so not inconvenient)...
The food is always hot and fresh. Only negative I can think of is the young lady taking orders at the drive through sounds so depressed it makes me depressed. I hope she's okay.
