“I love this place and find it laughable that some of these reviewers act like everyone should be perfect human beings like them. For the lady leaving the thanksgiving review, here’s my review of your review:
As another customer, I just want to thank you for the most dramatic breakdown ever written about… placing your own bacon on a bagel. Truly, a Thanksgiving tragedy. The way you survived iced-coffee confusion, a manager who didn’t want to debate sandwich engineering, and the emotional devastation of not getting a 24 oz hot cup—absolutely heroic. And the part where you proudly announced you withheld a tip from people working on Thanksgiving, away from their own families, because your bagel assembly didn’t meet your artistic vision? Beautiful. Nothing says ‘respectful customer’ quite like punishing holiday staff for not catering to your every demand. Please record your corporate call—I’d love to hear the moment they realize your biggest hardship this year was breakfast.“
“Everything is awesome. Drag in, then fly out! I would live there.“

“Love the drive through- their bagel breakfast sandwiches (the bagels are the best in general) *they will toast but you have to put on your own Creamcheese. Also the turkey wraps are 10/10! Absolutely love their board that they have posted with a variety of pre customized drinks making my morning a breeze! They’ve also hired very sweet new girls!!“

“Husband and I went here for our 5th wedding anniversary. So glad we did. Food was amazing, staff was helpful and very funny. We got wings to bring home for our picky teenager and he loved them. Great experience. We will be returning.“

“My friend and I stopped here after spending time on Orcas Island. I was here visiting from Missouri and craving seafood. They accommodated my craving crab. Great service from a cute new employee who took great care of us. As well as the staff who took care of our meal. It was so good and we were so appreciative. I would whole heartedly recommend this place.“

“Great vibe, great food, and really good drinks. The Ice tea is made fresh and amazing. The Asada tacos were so tender, and the habanero sauce is so yummy. Also had the quesabirria taco plate that had the best consumè. Love this place, will be back!“

“Recently, Sunshine Drip accommodated a larger order for our group. Service was outstanding and flexible to our needs! Pasties delicious! Scones were moist, not hard and dry and just crumbled in your mouth!!! As one friend said, "Oooom hoom! Om nom, nom nom!!", and gave a thumbs up trying to avoid crumbs falling out of his mouth. :-)“

“This restaurant, the staff, the menu, and the owners are all cooler than an Eskimos backyard. The fresh ingredients, creativity and love for the culinary arts make for far superior dining experience. Oh, did I mention the bar upstairs with outdoor seating and a veil of the cove...“

“I go to Port Angeles typically once a month. The last year, I have been making this trip on Tuesdays. I arrive at the ferry early and take a walk. That’s when I think, it would nice to have a coffee. Oh ya, Callens is right across the street. Unfortunately, they are closed on Tuesdays and don’t open till 9am the other days. I only bring this up because virtually every time, I see people walking up to find the only business capable of serving coffee at the ferry terminal closed. Obviously, I have no idea how much staffing they have and certainly they need a day off. I am only pointing out they have a captive audience here looking for coffee and possibly something to eat while they wait for the ferry. Thank you for the opportunity to express my thoughts as I would like to support this local business.“

“Stopped here on our way back to Missouri. I grew up just down the road from this place and this was my first time eating here ( I'm embarrassed to say). we had the fish and chips and shrimp basket, both were amazing! I have eaten A LOT of fish and chips in my life and this was hands down the best. I love the shaded outdoor dining area, it was clean and comfortable. The staff here, is super friendly. If there is a line DO NOT let it deter you from stopping. It is work the wait. I even got 5lbs of shrimp to take back to MO.“

“Mai Thai is our go-to for Thai food. We chose it over Naung Mai in Oak Harbor initially because of the price difference, but the portions are bigger and there's more of your chosen meat/protein in the soups and entrees. That said- be aware you have to LIKE SPICE. Recently it has been difficult to get "spice 1", which should just be a hint. If you say "no spice", it's OK, but not Thai, right? But if there's a difference between 1 and 4, I can't tell. Our Pho soup tonight (spice 1) was burning our throats. The pad thai was OK at spice 1, but still quite a bit spicier than I would assume 1 would be. This is a new development for this restaurant, so it is probably a new chef. Just BE AWARE. Anyway, most people complain the food in the PNW is too bland, so you won't have that problem, at least! And as far as ordering, we use the online app. Add five mins to the time it says your pick up is ready. It is never ready. Door Dashers use this place constantly, and they clog the order process. There is indoor dining, but we have never used it, thanks to Covid protocols. Also- a final word on parking. The parking lot has been sectioned off from looping through the driver's ed school next door. Therefore the lot is super tough to turn and get out. You are better off parking along the strip by the salon to the left of the restaurant and walking up. Please be careful in this area of town at night.“
