We used to go to Anita's coastal cafe for years. Excellent breakfasts and lunches. We have been disappointed since new owners took over. Hash brownS tasted like they were cooked with butter before, now it tastes like bad oil. Could not recommend to people under new ownership unless the bring back the excellent food they used to have.
The New Mexican food and drinks are not that good. El Mar in Long Beach is sooo much better.
I had the fish and chip cod with onion rings the. cod was very dry no flavor to it at all all you can taste is grease in the Cod and in the onion rings and a bowl of clam chowder which clam chowder was not clam chowder it was bacon and potatoes there was no clams in it it tasted like bacon and grease my friend had the French dip the bread was small and hard the meat was dry did not taste good at all would not recommend this place to anybody ever again food absolutely sucks the...read full review
