I will never go back to that place. Not organize at all, people were waiting for their food. Other people got food before other people. Yes, I will not go back. The food wasn't that great too.

The server was quite rude about the mask mandate. And then food came out cool, not warm or hot. Worst baconcheese burger i have ever had. Asked me how I wanted it cooked and still ran it thru a dehydrator. Very blan tasting....

Ewe... again. We think if the staff smoked one less pack of cigs each day they'd have time to order the food that's needed to cook the stuff on the menu. Cough cough ... barf. If it sounds dirty and looks dirty that food be dirty.

Now Barbe-Queen, there are about 10 tables (5 - 4 tops and 5 - 2 tops) in this quaint restaurant that changed owners summer of 2021. Menu is still undergoing changes so I asked waitstaff and ordered the Polynesian Monroe plate. Hawaiian BBQ sauced chicken thigh was excellent and I'm glad I tried it instead of larger Loco Moco. Don't be in a rush as you take in small town life. I look forward to seeing updates to décor and exterior that matches the island vibe.

This place has been a favorite of mine for years , but lately the management has changed along with the wait staff. The waitress was very impersonal and unprofessional, it's a small place and the customers don't want to hear her complain about them as they eat. Very disappointed. And the menu is changing too. No good! WHY CHANGE A GOOD THING , THIS PLACE HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL FOR YEARS . DONT MESS WITH IT!!!

We have been visiting the Berry Patch every year since we discovered it more than 15 years ago. When I ask my (now adult) children the places we can't miss while vacationing on the peninsula, Berry Patch tops the list. The calamari and fries is our number one order, too! We will be back in 4 days, and can't wait!

Great food even though they were understaffed! The quality of service and food did not suffer! I would recommend this place for a great place to stop and grab a burger.
Three of us went to the Berry Patch in Ocean Park Washington for Lunch. My Wife ordered a burger, my friend and I order Clam Chowder. After 30 minutes her burger was served. it was good and she enjoyed it. My friend and I sat there watching wifey eat her lunch. 45 minutes later we were served water and for the THIRD TIME asked if we were ready to order. "We have ordered twice at this point and have waited 50 minutes for our bowls of Chowder. The manager apologized and blamed the help. 25 minutes later we still hadn't received our soup or drinks, wife was ready to leave so we just got up and walked out. The manager was at blame also, good intentions pave the path to hell and she was busy making promises that NEVER HAPPENED. Wife paid for her meal and refused to pay for the soup we didn't receive. There was an argument that "you ordered it, you pay for it". I told them to dial 911 to get the police there faster. What a FIASCO. JERKS! We won't pay for what we didn't receive. The manager apologized and promised to serve us immediately. We are leaving and not paying for what we didn't receive. This was the THIRD TIME she promised service. I and my friend will not EVER EVER EVER AGAIN go there or EVER recommend the BERRY PATCH in OCEAN PARK Wa. I must point out that they were not busy during out attempt to eat a meal. There were only FOUR tables with patrons, we being one of them. Their servers were off in a corner laughing and talking and not taking care of business or customers. WHY couldn't they scoop up two simple bowls of soup? it was already made up and they WERE NOT BUSY. DO NOT VISIT THIS SAD EXCUSE FOR A RESTAURANT BECAUSE CHANCES ARE GOOD YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR ORDER, ONLY EXCUSES. I recommend DUGGERs in Longbeach over the Berry Patch and I DON"T LIKE DUGGERS and DONT EAT THERE. If it helps with your evaluations, I am a local and they treated us like trash.

The new menu is awesome with some very large portions. I'm happy to know there is a Monte Cristo on the peninsula. Service was slow but friendly and informative.

This place has changed hands and is now Barbie Cue (or something like that). The food was good once we got it. They need to speed up the time it takes to get orders out. Hopefully, they will work that out soon. It would also be helpful to have vegetables in their bowl offerings.

I will preface this by saying they are under new ownership so I don't know what changes they will be making. So the food was excellent, I got the fish and chips. Fish was fresh but was only missing some seasoning on the fish or the breading. The fries were really good! On to the decor. It is now called Barbe Queen. And they haven't done much to update the place. Kinda run down and not in a good way. We sat at a table that was next to a door that was filthy. I wouldn't seat customers there. Needs a lot of updates but a new slab of paint would clean the place up. The prices are a little steep for this type of ambiance. The staff....top notch!!! Everyone was very attentive and friendly....maybe just need a uniform that doesn't include sweatpants.

Painfully slow, slooooow service. I ordered a bowl of soup and a side of fries. My partner ordered a garden burger and a house salad. 15 min later I got my bowl of soup and nothing else for the next 30 min. Shame cuz staff is friendly and food isn't bad (although not good enough to worth the wait).
