Buck Bay Shellfish Farm Reviews
My family and I came to the San Juan islands off the coast of Washington for the third leg of our trip this summer.
We spent 3 nights on Orcas island and decided to try Buck Bay Shellfish farm.
Simply put, I tried just about everything on their menu over the course of 2 lunches and 1 dinner.

We went to Buck Bay Shellfish on a recommendation of a local and it was outstanding! Very low key - picnic tables and stand in line to order, but the food was unbelievably fresh and perfectly prepare
Beautiful surroundings and the best seafood on Orcas Island. The whole place is full of friendly staff and the dining tables are set in a lovely shady side yard. Can't wait til they open again in April.

Menu
Buck Bay Shellfish Farm offers the freshest seafood and delicious BBQ on Orcas Island. Guests can enjoy their meal outside under a canopy or beneath mature trees, like the willow tree, soaking in the beautiful setting. The atmosphere feels like dining at a family member's house, filled with love and care in every dish. The mussels, oysters, island roll, and mac & cheese are highly recommended. The halibut fish and chips and salmon fish and chips are positively scrumptious and some of the best ever. The brisket and other BBQ options are amazing and the Dino bone special is fantastic. The menu presents many delicious options, including a dozen oyster appetizer, clam chowder, and clams. Dining al fresco enhances the fresh taste of the food, so bring a jacket as it's often breezy. Parking can be limited during busy summer months, so planning ahead is advised, especially since the place can get crowded.
